Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful This kit has everything needed to start a tropical aquarium. Filter, heater, and lights all do their jobs. The look of it is wonderful and I love seeing my fish in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Aquarium I replaced a 14 gallon biocube with this aquarium. The biocube scratched very easily and it was time for a change. I have a 14" wide stand and this fit perfectly. The tank looks great. The LED lighting is very good. The blue option is cool looking. The bright light is very good also. The filter runs quietly. Heater is a little large but works fine. At the moment, I have one betta in the tank. I may add a catfish and a couple of small short-finned fish in the future. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. The heater, filter, hood, lighting, tank and net are a pretty good deal for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Aquarium This kit contains everything needed to get started w/tropical fish. I added a big plant to cover the big heater. The filter is very quiet. The lighting which has two options, blue LED & bright LED is very nice. This tank fit onto my 14" wide stand perfectly otherwise, I might've gone with a long tank. But for a couple of small fish, this tank works just fine. I thought the price was good considering you're getting a hooded aquarium w/lighting, heater, filter & net.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value, pleasing to look at I've had this tank setup for about a week now and I think it is a good value considering it comes with just about everything you need minus water conditioner, substrate, and fish. The tank appears to be built well and the silicone seams are even and neat. The hood feels a little cheap but fits well onto the tank, and the lighting is adequate. The filter has an adjustable flow output which is nice for sensitive fish and the filter intake is adjustable in depth. Finally the heater is easy to use and seems to maintain a steady temperature. If you can find it on sale its a pretty good deal. Its been a nice tank to look at and show off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it so far This is a really nice tank. My beta loves it. I put a sponge in the filter to slow the flow other than that it’s perfect. Highly recommended for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks nice but the filter is trash It looks good and has a handy profile for things like shrimp, but the filter barely lasts two months. Not really worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tank for a small flowerhorn For those new to flowerhorn, when they are small, it's best to house them in a 10 gallon tank before gradually transition them to a bigger tank as they grow. The reason for this is the smaller tank is great to train them to recognize the owner and they become very interactive as you approach them. This tank is a perfect starter tank for a small one and since flowerhorn is a very agressive fish, you should only house him ALONE in this tank. With everything included in this tank, it is hands down the best price for a 10 gallon kit tank you can find anywhere. The design is sleek and well thought out. I removed the back hanging filter with an aquaclear 20 gal filter because flowerhorn is a very dirty, messy fish and I want to be able to stack my biological media inside the filter and the aquaclear filter have enough space to let me do just that. My flowerhorn feel at home right away once I put him inside. I took an internal filter from my other aquarium and let it run inside this new tank to create an instant cycled water aquarium and my flowerhorn couldn't be happier. He swim up and down and explore every crevices of the tank like an inquiring fish that he is. Highly recommend this tank. When I am ready to upgrade to a 20 gallon tank, I will buy the top fin 20 gallon hex tank, which when it is on sale, cost only $20 more than this tank.

Live plants, snail, shrimp, beta, and that’s it! It’s too small for anything else. Remember water to oxygen ratio.
