The Marineland Magnum 200 Polishing Internal Canister Filter offers powerful 3-stage filtration for your aquarium up to 60 gallons. This compact and versatile filter is capable of filtering 200 gallons of water per hour. Choose from everyday powerful, continuous three-stage filtration or high-efficiency water polishing. Submerged motor means quick and easy startup. No back flush means when the motor shuts off, dirt and debris stay in place, keeping the water clean and clear. Contains Marineland Black Diamond Premium Activated Carbon for removing discoloration, odors and impurities. Includes a Marineland Rite-Size TC Floss Sleeve to trap small dirt particles. The included Rite-Size TC Micron Cartridge screens out both large and fine debris for increased water clarity. The filter's media container provides a surface area of 48 square inches for the growth of Bio-Spira, beneficial bacteria that are responsible for neutralizing ammonia and nitrates, making your aquarium water crystal clean overnight. Clean water is one of the signs of a healthy aquarium environment. The amount of filtration needed to maintain an aquarium depends on a number of variables. These include tank size, individual maintenance habits and fish population.
