Nice FernThis is a fern that needs medium light and it should be tied to a rock or wood not buried or rhizomes will die. Peel off any thread like off of leaves once established. If you see fuzzy roots growing on top of the leaves these are baby plants that form the roots first then start to shoot leaves. Leave them on till you can see two leaves then carefully separating the roots off the mother leaf. You will now have a new plant. No C02 is required, light fertilizer monthly.

looking goodThe packaging called for 2-4 count, not sure what that means I would assume it was two or more plants but this single plant has about five leaves off it so that's what I guess it means, it is certainly a unique looking plant with the black roots coming off the leaves, the fish in my tank instantly investigated the plant and the neon tetras seem to like it the most. I have been gradually bringing more and more live plants into my aquarium and hopefully within the next few months I'll have nothing but live plants, they seem to be going quite well even though I do not have a CO2 canister hooked up yet. however I am using a CO2 booster liquid. the plant looks to be very healthy and the root system very strong I made a hole in the gravel deep enough for the roots and placed some River Rocks over the top of the gravel to make it more stable, with time we will see how well it holds up.
