Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Dog loves this I purchase the S/O dry dog food to use as a snack food. I recently received the "small dog" version of the S/O dry dog food. I didn't know the dry dog food came in small bites but am very pleased it was just sent when I ordered it. My Holly a 17 pound min pin Cannot get enough. I also use the two types of can food for her as well. The S/O was recommended to me from my sister who also uses a different form of Royal Canin. My vet agrees to feed my dog the S/O even though they do not sell it through their office. My Holly had to have surgery for a full bladder of stones back in 2012 and has been on your S/O ever since - and to this day still is Stone Free. Have and will continue to recommend Royal Canin to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Urinary Diet that Really Works! I have 2 small breed Male dogs that have both been diagnosed with urinary crystals and stones. Both have had very costly surgery for this problem. My Veterinarian recommended this dog food. They have been on Royal Canin Urinary SO dry and can dog food for over 6 years. To this day they have not gotten any crystals or stones in their urinalysis testing. Definitely does what it is supposed to do. A much better alternative than putting pets through the pain and surgery of not using this dog food. I would not trust my dogs health to any other dog food. Great Job Royal Canin! Hollywood and Elmo Salute You!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good, but could be better I really did not have a choice as to which prescription Urinary food my Jack Russell was put on, and I feel this is pretty much the only option out there (short of cooking every meal yourself). That said, when we first put him on the new food, he almost didn't eat at all... after a few days, I realized it may have been due to the fact the kibble in this food is really hard, particularly for older dogs' teeth. So I started soaking the kibble with water just before serving it up (kinda like you pour milk on cereal...) and my dog is not plowing through his food!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog was filled with over 100 bladder stones, so he needed emergency surgery, his doctor preformed surgery and successfully removed the stones. He is doing great! The Vet recommended Royal Canin SO Uninary and he loves the food, and adjusted to the new food with No problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good We've used this product for over five years for our miniature schnauzer, Roxy. Poor Roxy had two bladder stone operations in less than six months. After the second operation, our Vet prescribed Royal Canine Urinary SO, and we've been happy to report that Roxy hasn't had a problem since! Roxy just celebrated her 12th birthday on March 1st! Thank you from all of us for saving Roxy's life! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dogs Love! Both my dogs have to be on a restricted diet, they were on another brand for a while but the taste was not good and it was a struggle to get them to eat. When we switched to the SO diet they loved it! The taste and the small dog size was wonderful. They both love the food and now meal time is no longer a struggle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Morsels just the right size This food has perfect size morsels for my little Jack Russel mix and just the right amount of crunch, not too hard and very easy to digest. He was a rescue, 12+ yrs old, had extremely bad teeth. My little guy also had bladder stones and this food aided in helping to dissolve them. He at the food with no problem so I knew he liked it. Sadly, he passed away last year but we were blessed to have had the love and affection of this wonderful little boy.
