Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog thinks it is a treat. He loves the small size. He is 14yrs old and his diabetes is so well managed on this food. He eats like he was having special treats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got My Diabetic Dog Quickly Regulated I started my diabetic Chihuahua on this food as soon as she was diagnosed. The combination of this and insulin got her quickly regulated and healthy again and she loves it, so no worries about her not eating at insulin time. I've since adopted another diabetic dog. He too quickly became regulated and loves the food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great!!! I was hesitant to pay that much for dog food, but my dog, Daisy, was just not getting better with the insulin alone. I finally gave in and got the glucobalance for Daisy and to my surprise she not only loves it but it really helped her glucose levels get in line quickly and have been consistent. My other dog also likes it, I had to call my veterinarian and make sure it was ok for him to eat it since he is not diabetic, he loves it also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing My dog has been on this food now for a year and a half since she was diagnosed with diabetes. She is a 15 1/2 year old blind pit bull and she loves it! This food has helped her glucose levels stay in check! I work for a partner veterinary hospital, and this food as well as all the other royal canine food are so good and well formulated for the pets who need it. I trust them and are very thankful for all that they do. Thank you royal canine for caring as much as you do and for what you do. My fur baby thanks you as well!!! Rated 3 out of 5 by from Diabetic dog food without carb count???? My vet recommended this food for my West Highland Terrier with diabetes. I am concerned because I can't find a carbohydrate content for it. This doesn't make sense. If this food is designed for diabetic dogs, then the percentage of carbohydrate should be there with protein, fat, and the other ingredients. I am going to contact the company for more information. My dog really likes it, but I want to know exactly what I am feeding so she won't have to take too much insulin to make up for too heavy carb content food. At this point I recommend it as far as taste goes, but I will change my rating if the company does not provide adequate information. On the site dog food advisor, it stated that the company would not release the information regarding their food. This is concerning, but I will find out the facts and then write another review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog is still alive because of your products! At the age of 2, Parsons Russell Terrier dog,, Rusty almost died from bladder stones. Our Veterinarian immediately performed surgery to remove the stones and also changed him over to the Royal Canin diet. I'm happy to say that Rusty just had his 9th birthday and is still going strong. Thanks to Royal Canin!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glycobalance is an ackward title but accurate. I have an almost 15 year old Border Collie/Lab lady dog with Diabetes. Her blood sugars were a challenge to control but now that she is on Royal Canin , the blood sugars are in optimal control As she ages, Gertie is much more choosy about her food choice but, happily, she loves Royal Canin!

My dog is a chihuahua , does this food comes in small bites?

Asked by: Amalia

Hill's glycobalance for diabetic dogs. Is there a smaller size to order? The 17.6# is too larger, it also cost $50. My pet was recently diagnosed as diabetic. I am trying to find a food she will eat.
