He is on prescription food for his diarrhea. I tried out the dry version of this food and he wouldn't eat it. I saw they came out with a canned version and decided to try it. He loved the food and even better, no diarrhea! This food is a little pricy, but it's cheaper than prescription food. (I love when they have coupons as well to save even more!) Thanks you for making another alternative Hills! P.S. I would love it if they came out with a chunks and gravy version as well! I originally purchased the foods just after rescuing my dog because he had skin allergies and tummy upset that seemed to be caused by his diet. His symptoms cleared up, he tolerated the food very well and seemed to love the taste. Unfortunately, I allowed other dog parents convince me to purchase some of the boutique grain-free brands because they were supposedly better for him. I tried several and he did not tolerate any of them very well at all, often getting diarrhea and gas. We are now back to this food and we both couldn't be happier.
Date published: 2018-07-23

Hill's® Science Diet® Sensitive Stomach & Skin Adult Dog Food - Salmon & Vegetable Reviews - page 2

y_2019, m_11, d_10, h_16

bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.0

cp_1, bvpage1

co_hasreviews, tv_0, tr_11

loc_en_US, sid_40162, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=HELPFULNESS, direction=DESCENDING), SortEntry(order=POSITIVE_FEEDBACK, direction=DESCENDING), SortEntry(order=SUBMISSION_TIME, direction=DESCENDING)]

clientName_petsmart

bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0

CLOUD, getReviews, 91ms

reviews, product

We do not believe that any single dog food is appropriate for all life stages. In the early stages of life, young pets need high levels of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients to ensure proper growth. We believe that nutrient levels that are appropriate for growth in puppies are too high for older dogs. Likewise, a food that contains reduced levels of nutrients for older dogs may be inadequate for growing puppies. The "one size fits all" pet food philosophy goes against everything Hill's has learned in over fifty years of clinical nutrition research. Hill's® Science Diet® is committed to the life stage concept. You will not find the words "... for all life stages" on any Hill's® Science Diet® product. We would suggest speaking to your veterinarian for an appropriate diet recommendation for your special pets.
