Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cranberry wellness I have a 4 year old male cat with urinary tract problems. He was partially blocked the first time he had and issue and completely blocked a couple months later. He spent 2-3 days at the vet with a catheter for 48 hours. I felt so bad for him and wasn't sure what to do. The vet recommended prescription diet food but he won't eat it. Tried it after the first vet visit. I originally had him on purina pro plan urinary tract. I tried adding blue buffalo dry to his diet but that's when he got completely blocked. I should mention I had him on the purina for a long time as a precaution from a gland issue but the vet thought it was fine to give him other flavors. My others cats get a variety of flavors all purina pro plan. The partial blockage came after give him different flavors. After the catheter visit I tried prescription again but he still didn't eat it. The vet recommended only offering him that food until he was hungry enough to eat. I'm not going to eat something I don't like and I don't expect them to. The purina pro plan is their favorite food and I tried a lot of brands. I stopped giving him dry food he only gets purina pro plan urinary tract can. I ordered tinkle tonic and cranberry wellness and paid for faster shipping. I think I began giving him the cranberry about a week after the catheter. I gave it to him twice a day as directed. A few weeks went buy and he began licking like he was before the blockage. I gave him the recommend dosage of tinkle tonic as soon as I saw him licking. His licking stopped with in a few days and he was able to urinate. I also add water to his can food since he doesn't drink enough and only give them spring water for drinking. I finished the twice a day 6 week recommendation of the cranberry and he now gets it twice a week for maintenance. I also gave him tinkle tonic the whole time slowly lowering the does to ween him off. It's been a few months all together and I make sure I observe him urinated every time I can. He is able to urinate very well currently "knock on wood" and i hope it stays that way. I'm not sure if any one of the things I've been doing is working more then the other. I can't say what made he biggest difference. The combination seems to work for him and I'm going to continue giving him only can food with added water and the maintenance dosage of cranberry. I also have extra cranberry wellness and tinkle tonic in case I need to do another treatment dosage. Hope that helps anyone reading sorry if its a little confusing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What the Vet Ordered My dearest Skye is a rescue dog. I adopted a puppy with a severe urinary infection that antibiotics fought off. Then it came back, again and again and again regardless of the treatment. Having personal experience with the issue, my DR told me to take vitamin C to keep my urinary tract acidic. I had Skye tested and she had a very alkaline urinary tract which can foster bladder stones and infections. I fell back on what helped me and did research to find something that would help Skye be acidic. I found Cranberry Wellness. I have given Skye 1 scoop for her 50 lbs after the first 3 weeks for the last 5 years. It has kept my dear Skye without a urinary infection since. I realize the instructions indicate not giving this dose past 3 weeks, but getting a dog to take vitamin C is not happening. This product gives her the C she needs. And I get to have the heck on wheels dog I love!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommend this product One morning three weeks ago my precious baby girl, a 7 year old short haired tabby cat named Cody started urinating small amounts and many times and that evening urinated outside of her box and it looked darker like there was blood in her urine. I took her to the vet that next morning and she was treated with fluids, and I asked the doctor to give her antibiotics as I thought she might have a urinary tract infection. She was nervous at the doctor and urinated a little on the scale when they weighed her. The doctor said there was blood in her urine and that she might have FLUID (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease) or FUS (Feline Urinary Syndrome). She told me that Cody had to increase her water intake. I have her on Wellness Indoor Cat and Salmon dry formulas and knew I had to increase her water by feeding her more canned food. I also didnt want to keep going back to the doctor's for antibiotics. This wasnt the first time- she seems prone to getting them every 6 months- and I wanted to find a holistic way of helping her. So I found Cranberry Wellness Powder on the site and had it sent overnight. I also ran out and bought Wellness Chicken/Beef canned food and she has 1-2 cans a day and only 1/4 cup of dry I leave out at night. I started out putting 1/2 a scoop in about 1/4 of a can to make sure she would eat all of it- and did that 4 times each day so she would have a total of 2 scoops a day. After I mix it in the wet food and push all the food together (making a small mound) and then add a little filtered water- like a teaspoon and a half- but not too much so it doesnt water down the taste. Cody starts eating her food and then through licking and chewing ends up consuming the extra water. I have done this for 3 weeks and I can say the amount of urine she is eliminating is back to normal. She is not straining and is doing well with the wet food and Cranberry Wellness Powder. I will keep her on this product long term with the maintenance dose of twice a week as I believe the Cranberry Wellness Powder is strengthening her urinary tract. I recommend this product to everyone who has a cat that has urinary problems. PS. The 1 scoop amount is measured with the SCOOPER found in the container. You have to dig for it as mine was covered in the powder. People were stating in their reviews that the 'scoop' was missing.. but it wasnt... you had to find it in the bottom of the powder. But if you dont have a scooper for some reason I am estimating it is the same as a 1/8 teaspoon. I will keep everyone posted on Cody's progress over the next 30 days on the maintenance dose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the purchase for my kitty I bought this product to try to help my new adopted feral cat who obviously had developed a possible UTI-I used this product along with another product for UTI's from another company. Basically, I ws trying to avoid a high vet bill, and I had read that antibiotics really did not work. Along with another product, this cranberry product has been a blessing-she has been well for several months. Thanks so much. I will continue to purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cured bloody struvite crystal situation Used for three weeks, as directed, and now twice a week, as directed. Totally resolved PH issue and bloody struvute crystal issue which, vet said was, "as bad as it gets." Ph now perfect. Tried to convince veterinarians to use in similar cases. So happy I found it. Used in conjunction with your, "Tinkle Tonic."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bladder Stone Prevention My dog has a history of bladder stones and was prescribed a special diet to prevent the stones from forming. She developed a severe allergy to the food and continued to develop UTIs. After doing a little bit of research on the use of cranberry power to prevent stones, I decided to take her off the prescription diet and start giving her this product. I am extremely happy with the results! It keeps her urine acidic to help prevent stone development and UTIs. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a dog with a history of bladder stones and is seeking an alternative to the prescription diet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Product - Thank you!! I waited to write my review for this until after my male cat was seen again by the vet so here it goes if you are willing to read it all. I have 2 male cats and 1 of them was only 21 months old when he got completely blocked. I noticed he was acting differently, no energy and not eating at all - normally he eats great and is running around the house with lots of energy. It was about 8 pm and I was very worried so I took him into the emergency animal clinic.. they said his bladder was the size of a peach and hard. He had to stay over night and they had to give him an IV & catheters, etc. I picked him up in the morning and transferred him to the vet since the ER was closing. The vet called in the afternoon and wanted him back in the ER because he got blocked again after being flushed out! So he spent the next 3 days in the ER (thank goodness it was a weekend and they had 24 hr care). The vet recommended a special prescription diet which I put him on. When he got home he still was not right. He wasn't completely blocked but was barely urinating. He was on medication to control the inflamation due to the catheters. After 3 days home he started urinating on blankets and other soft items..whatever he could find. He had never done that before so I felt like he was just getting worse. Took him back to the vet for a 10 day checkup and they did a ultrasound and said his bladder looked like 'starry night' because of all the crystals and there was sludge present. She gave me more meds to help keep him comfortable to urinate and told me to come back for another ultrasound in 1 month. At that point, I knew he needed something else as well. I did all the research and found this product and read all the great reviews but was skeptical of course but hey - worth a shot I was desperate. After about 1 1/2 weeks I noticed he was doing much better and he stopped urinating outside of the litter box and after the full 3 weeks he seemed totally cured. I took him back to the vet right after the 3 weeks ended for another ultrasound and she said his bladder was pitch black (like it should be!!!) - no presence of sludge or crystals. I got in the car and cried with relieve! I want to also mention that he had no side effects from taking this. The 1st day I did just give a pinch instead of the full scoop to make sure he would eat it and not throw up or anything. He's not a picky eater but I mixed this well in his wet food and I also add water to the wet food because he just will not drink water from a plain bowl or even a fountain. Thank you SO much for this product!! I'm now using it twice a week for maintenence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Every Cat Owner Should Use This Product Two of my cats came down with first-time UTIs at the same time. Running in and out of the litter box, peeing outside of the litterbox and one had blood in her urine. I immediately gave them both Tinkle Tonic (having bought it thinking I might need it sometime). One cat improved immediately. The other cat didn't. I ordered Cranberry Wellness powder[...]and within 3-4 days my Ursa was back to normal. I stopped giving the Tinkle Tonic and went to the maintenance dose of all products, but after a couple of weeks, Ursa began spending alot of time in the box again. So for her, I need to keep her on all three products at maximum dosage to keep her UTIs under control. Cranberry Wellness is a great, gentle product that every cat owner should have on hand. I especially like that it has Olive Leaf in it to get rid of bacteria. Great alternative to antibiotics that will weaken your pet's immune system over time.
