Rated 5 out of 5 by 101son from I love it. I actually am an employee at Petsmart and am surprised at the mixed reviews this product has received. Customers at my store have always said great things about it. A Blue rep purchased a small bag for me test with my two cats and they love it! It isn't dusty, clumps well, and absorbs odor. It's also environment friendly. I have a lot of clay litter, but once I've used it up, I'll be switching completely to this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JenM from Love it! I love this litter! I wasn't sure what litter to use for my new cat who has Upper Respitory and this product works well for him. Doesn't track much at all, covers odors and looks neat and clean (being a darker color). Overall very impressed Blue Buffalo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyKat68 from Finally a No Mess and No Hassle Litter I have been a customer of Blue Buffalo products, mainly dog food and treats, for a number of years now. I saw the commercial on TV for this new Blue kitty litter but I was hesitant to try it. Just the other day while I was shopping for pet food and a new larger cat box for my senior cat, a woman approached me to talk about the new litter product she was pushing. Reluctantly, I listened to what she said about Blue and I'm happy to9 say she wasn't misrepresenting the product. First, my cat took to this litter wihout hesitation. The look of the product in the box is visually appealing with its brown color and soft dust free texture. It clumps great and truly absorb any smells from cat urine., I totally love this product and I hope my pet store will keep this on their shelves for a long time. This product is top quality and worth every penny.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KelliG from A stinky dust storm I tried the Multi-Cat version of the Naturally Fresh litter and loved it, but I switched to the Quick Clumping litter because it was a couple bucks cheaper at the time. I assumed it would be the same (or at least similar being the same brand and all), and I was wrong, wrong, wrong. This litter is DUSTY. It puts every other litter I've used (even cheap clay litter) to shame with how much dust it spews everywhere. My carpet, walls, litter boxes, cats, etc... are constantly coated in brown dust, and I can't scoop the box without sneezing, coughing, and getting my arms covered in brown dust too. It's terrible. Even my poor kitty keeps sneezing! The urine clumps also crumble apart and leave the litter smelling gross. It's as if a stinky dust storm is constantly coming through my home, and I feel bad for my cats who had to walk into a stinky, dirty dust cloud every time they had to use the litter box. I'm not sure if Blue's quality has gone down for all litter or just this one, but this is terrible. I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere. This litter is too expensive to perform worse than Tidy Cat...

Rated 5 out of 5 by DollyP from Love it! I'm seeing quite a bit of bad reviews, but I've had cats all my life and I've tried numerous litters. This, so far has been the best. Now I had no problem w/clay until my senior cat, just prior to his death began eating his litter. After getting our kitten, I wanted to make sure if there were ever any stomach ailments, no clay would be eaten. I am a complete neat freak but ALL LITTER tracks, so if you don't like it then a cat isn't for you. I also have not seen the paw staining others are mentioning unless there's a moisture issue in your home preventing the litter from totally drying. As far as the clumping, as long as it's scooped within 24 hours it's great, now I was ill and didn't scoop for 2 days and there was a small issue with a couple clumps breaking apart, but again, I've seen the same with clay. As far as odor, I use the Alpine Mountain scented version of this and I smell NOTHING but that except for the one time I was neglectful. It's waste folks, as the wife of a plumber, I assure you, nothing is gonna mask it. However I found the odor I did smell was far less distasteful than that of wet paper litter and clay...I wished they made this scented one in the bigger bag!

Rated 5 out of 5 by TenshiNekogirl from Awesome I've had used some different environmental cat litter and this is by far my favorite. I'm not sure if the other reviewers had more than one cat or what their situation was, but from a single cat family, the clumping works great! It actually stays together for easy scooping. My cat still has a little bit of litter brought out when she comes out, but to me that is to be expected. I am planning to stick to this litter from now on. <3

Rated 5 out of 5 by AKJT from buy the multi cat version I have tried the green top bag, only once, and use the red top bag "multi cat" instead. The difference between the two is the size of the litter: single cat variety (the green top bag) has large pieces, smells bad, has dust, and honestly does not perform well at all. The multi cat variety (the red top bag) does not have any of these problems. I therefore recommend for single cat owners as well as those with more than one cat, to only buy the multi cat variety (red top bag). This one is 100% dust free, no deodorizer in the litter, clumps very well, and is very easy to clean. I have Siamese, and they do track some around (not much), but at least it is easy to see and therefore cleans up nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JoJoeskids from I have tried many different litters on the market and this is by far the BEST!!!! There is absolutely no DUST!! As far as tracking goes there's very little. I clean the litter boxes twice daily. It clumbs easily but doesn't hold as well as regular scoopable litter. This has not been an issue for me as I use an old kitchen utensil to scoop. It also lasts much longer than my old scoopable, therefore saving me money. I am so happy to know this product is made from more natural materials also. My cats love it. I have six cats which use one extra large box, one large box and one regular size box and I am happy to say there is no ODOR!! I used to dred carrying the 42 lb boxes. This is definately lighter and more easily managed. The sales lady who gave me the $5.00 coupon for my first purchase was honest when she described this product. I can't thank her enough.

Is this a low dust product?
Asked by: Cindersgirl
Yes. Although its tiny bits of walnut shell will cling to your cat's paws a short distance, this litter generates next to no dust.
