Rated 5 out of 5 by from She LOVES It! When my boyfriend and I rescued our cat, she was dangerously malnourished and very sick. We knew that the food we were giving her would make a HUGE impact on her immediate health, so we were very picky in the brand we chose. After a great conversation with our vet, we settled on the Wellness line of wet and dry food because of its natural ingredients and high protein recipes. (Cats are CARNIVORES! Rice, meals, fillers and byproducts do NOTHING for them!) The change in our little girl was immediate. She was gaining healthy weight, her fur grew in soft and shiny, and she became much more energized and playful. She positively LOVES this food -- she licks her plate clean every single time! She loves all the flavours we've given her (and we've tried nearly all of them!) and I love the fact that when I pop open a can, I don't want to gag or vomit due to the smell or horrific, gelatinous texture you see in other brands. YES, it is expensive, but it's worth every cent. The ingredients really make the difference, and if the cost is prohibitive, explore the Wellness website and join their e-mail club - they offer coupons every month (we've gotten two so far!) and PetSmart is great about accepting manufacturer's coupons. I can't say enough great things about this brand, it's totally worth it. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wellness brand cat food is terrific! I am the staff member for 2 precious cats, one of whom was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. She was on an RX diet, but grew to hate it, and eventually the RX diet wasn't helping her as she continued to have loose stools. I began to suspect that something in either the wet or the dry Rx diet was causing the loose stools, so I really began to read the labels for grains, which was in the dry formula food. I also spoke with the local rep for Wellness foods, who kindly gave me a sample of the "Core" Indoor formula. Within days of triying both the Wellness wet and dry food, her stools became normal, and she began to enjoy eating again. I hate that the food is so expensive, but its worth it to see my kitty happy, healthy, and not having bloody stools. Both cats are on the Wellness diet, and I have seen an improvemant in their coats, and both have lots of energy. I would highly reccomend this food to any cat person who wants to improve the health of their feline companion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My kitten's favourite food I love the fact that this is grain-free. Yes, it is more expensive than other canned foods. But because of the higher nutritional content, it is worth the price. You get what you pay for!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top quality food My Manx cat has a sensitivity to grain, so this food is perfect for him. It has real meat as the first ingredient. He licks his dish clean whenever I feed it to him. My only nitpick is that the bits of carrots and broccoli aren't necessary. Cats are obligate carnivores, and their wild ancestors didn't eat a lot of vegetables. But at least my cat can digest them.

what is the best wet and dry for a cat with urinary crystals?

    Asked by: houdinia
Good Morning. We are not a prescription pet food. Therefore I am unable to make a recommendation. However, check with your veterinarian to see what nutritional values he would like to see in your cats diet and we can see if we have something that fits those values and that he/she will like. You can email us directly at or call 800-225-0904, M-F, 8am to 5pm ET.
