Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality control issues after ownership change I've been feeding my cat the same Instinct LID Turkey and Duck for a few months now. One can of this 12 can shipment that I received from another online retailer seemed to be extremely light so I used a scale to measure it. It is 125 grams at best including the weight of the can. I measured another one in the case and it weighted about 160 grams including the can. Photos of both cans are attached. Also the can that weighted 160 grams is missing the date on the bottom of the can....another quality control issue. Instinct LID can food have been very inconsistent lately in quality. Some cans may have 15% missing when compared to others. Some are more watery than others. Although I'm still feeding my cat this brand for now and hoping that their quality control will stablize after the ownership change in May 2016, I may need find another brand /replacement without all those harmful/unnecessary additives.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was just leaving this review for the one above me. You are not supposed to leave wet food out for more than 20-30 minutes. Refrigerate whatever portion your cat doesn't eat. If it goes past the time mark you have to throw it out cause it starts to go bad and you can make your kitty very ill. Let me just add to this review that this is the best food out there. It is pricey, but definitely worth it. You will start to see changes in your kitties coats, their litter won't smell, even their faces start to look different. My cats eat the regular chicken flavor, and they love it!!! Highly recommend this brand!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good ingredients but dries out incredibly fast We've tried different canned food for our kitten and we gave it a try for this brand because of the good ingredients. When you first open it, it's very moist and smells good. Unfortunately, after 1-2 hours after you put it away, all the moisture and smell is gone and our kitten won't eat it anymore. It looks as if we left it out in the open for a week. We finally found something that she likes and it's good quality and does NOT dry out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ruined a great cat food My IBD cat has been eating LID Turkey since early 2014. The formula recently changed which result in diarrhea returning. He is also less enthusiastic about eating. Food used to have a chunky texture, now it is a mush and has pea protein filler. Likely will need to find a new brand of cat food. Cut corners to save money and Instinct ruined a great cat food.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pea Protein, really? The "Raw Brand" has apparently sold out as well--adding pea protein to cat food. Cats are obligate carnivores. Will not be buying from this company again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Go back to no veggies Don't know why you added pea protein when obviously people buy this LID food specifically for animal based proteins. My IBD cat is vomiting again. What is wrong with you all that you just destroy a good thing for profit??? I'm now going to start making my own food. Done with processed food companies that just put profit before a decent product. So tired of corporations with zero integrity and care for the animals. LID is SUPPOSED TO BE LIMITED with zero additives like peas and carrots. AND pea protein which is clearly the issue for my cat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Formula changed, has pea protein now One of our cats has IBD. We have been feeding LID Turkey for a very long time and she has been doing well. Recently, she started showing symptoms an
