Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product, best SO wet food! I have two boys that need Royal Canin Urinary SO, wet and dry, daily. One has a hard time with the pâté version in the bigger can, he'll eat it and throw it up almost immediately 8/10 times. I'm so glad that RC developed this product. It's far easier on his tummy, he has yet to throw it up and considering that was a 1-2x a day event, that says a lot. I'm not sure what they changed formula wise, but it seems to be better in general than the original SO. Instead of the pâté it has chunks of meat soaked in gravy, both of my boys LOVE it! Oh, and the moderate calorie is an added bonus. My guys were getting a bit heavy with the old stuff, and it's not like you can just switch them to a diet food... I recommend this product to anyone who has a kitty on an SO diet. Even if you can't do the daily meal plan (it is pricey), your kitty will enjoy it as a treat, I'm sure they'll thank you for it! I split a can between 2 adult cats, one is 15lbs and the other is 24lbs so these small cans hold a lot.

We joke we have the million dollar cat. Love our baby! He's been through some issues. One ear is flat, one up!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from less calories, much too expensive Have two cats with urinary blockage issues. They are therefore on urinary so diet. Use urinary so moderate calorie dry for them. One of them gets two cans of this urinary so moderate calorie can also. The other will not eat it. The rest of house cats get the regular calorie urinary so dry food, just for safety in case the other two cats that need to be on this diet get to their food. It is all too expensive for us. All of our dogs and cats are on a special diets for one medical reason or another. Royal Canin and all the vet diets are much too expensive for animal lovers and I believe the entire industry takes advantage financially of all of us. That in my opinion is despicable. How wealthy do they really need to be?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best prescription cat food! My cat has had cryatals and stones and this is the only prescription food he will eat. I alternate the moderate calorie with the regular for a little variety.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Food! Plan on buying again! My cat, Amadeus, completely loves this food. He gets overly excited when I'm feeding him everyday. So, needless to say, he likes the taste a lot! Plus, he is overweight so the low calorie diet is helping him lose the weight he needs. Also, the main thing is this food definitely is preventing the build up of crystals in his bladder so he doesn't get sick again. We plan on keeping Amadeus on this food for a long time.
