Have had this for a year, it's beautiful, I get lots of compliments, downside is I need a stool to access the tank, it's really tall and I must wear tank top when ready to clean it cause I'm up to my armpits cause its 24 inches tall. It also has 2 separate hoods because of the length which surprised me but really not a problem, you can take one away and still have some light. Definately worth it, great storage. I caught it on sale for $220 but would pay full price. The cabinet occasionally gets wet but there is no warping that I can see. It's 12 inches deep, which seems to be fine for my fish. It's like having a moving picture, a real showpiece!

I bought this tank & stand in early 2015 and it's been set up now for 8 months without any leaking. Like others, my canister wouldn't fit inside the cabinet without modification, so I decided to place it on the floor next to the cabinet (makes it easier to access for cleaning). Other than that I have no complaints about this tank.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GaryT74 Great aquarium!
Bought this aquarium early 2015 on sale and just now got around to setting it up, read others reviews about the tank leaking and I have not had that problem. So far everything is good and I'm happy with my purchase.

by JohnfromVA Good Value
This tank is inexpensive, and a good start for beginners. For advanced hobbyists, it's a little bit of a pain because it requires modification to accept a canister filter. The T8 lights included are fine for fish-only displays, but if you want plants don't even bother to take them home.
I have Fluval LED lights, an inline UV clarifier, Fluval G3 canister filter, and an inline CO2 diffuser on the tank pictured. Keep in mind, I cored holes at both ends of the cabinet to plumb the intake/exhaust for the filter and other inline goodies, and I also cut a section of the shelf out to make room for some of the equipment. It's not very hard to do, and there's plenty of material left for structural stability. This aquarium ensemble is so cheap that it's worth it to modify it to do what you want with it. I think it's a great setup, but the cabinet requiring modification makes it worth 4 stars.
