NATURE'S MIRACLE™Skunk Odor Remover
Takes Multiple Uses to Work
I bought this shampoo just in case I would need it and ended up doing so a few weeks later when my dog was sprayed pretty bad. It took about three baths to get rid of a majority of the smell but there was still a bit left behind anyway.

Still looking for something that works
We have a 90 pound lab who was sprayed. We bought two bottles. Thinking we didn't use it correctly or didn't leave it on long enough we ended up going back to buy 2 more. After reading the reviews I was hopeful this would be the solution but it's not.
If you are OK with your dog having a hint of skunk smell then this is your product, if you are expecting to bath your dog and let him/her back into your home odor free then DO NOT bother with this product.
It is better than home remedies so I'll give it two stars but I will be looking for other products.

Finally got, or I should say HAD to use the shampoo this morning. Worked well. I use the skunk shampoo, using the directions, rinsed, used her usual oatmeal shampoo, then rinsed again and another dose of the skunk shampoo. Still a faint scent right where she got hit, but it's tolerable.

Our German Shepherd got skunked one day at six in the morning. We tried the peroxide/baking soda/dish detergent mix because none of the stores were open. It did not get the smell out of him even after 3 treatments. By the way, the mix seemed to turn his coat a grayish color.
Then, we tried Nature's Miracle that evening -- meaning 12 hours after he was skunked. The stuff really works. It has the consistency of water and the 32 oz bottle was enough to get him soaked. We used a wash rag to do around his face area. Then, washed him with regular dog shampoo. There was still some lingering smell around his ears and nose. I went to Nature's Miracle website (the next day) and learned you can apply the supplemental coats with a wash rag and just let it air dry. No need to rinse or wash. That finished the job without having to wash him for the 6th time in two days.
Now, here is the really cool part. He went crazy after getting sprayed trying to run away from the smell. He happened to get into our house in the kitchen and smelled the room up -- basically the floor and some of the wood cabinets got a dose of the skunk oil. We just wetted the floor and the cabinets with the product and let air dry. Then, we Orange Glow'ed the cabinets and Swiffer washed the floor. Smell GONE! NO damage to the vinyl floor or the laminated cabinets. We also treated a small portion of a patterned area rug without any damage to the rug or the laminated floor underneath.
I would HIGHLY recommend the product. I even called the VET and let them know.
PLEASE NOTE ... The guy who gave this product 1 star must have been an idiot and did not follow directions. DO NOT wet the dog before applying -- just apply when the dog is dry. Let stand 5 minutes before washing. And, then apply supplemental coats in spot places and let air dry. I don't know what the heck he did for it not to work.
