Rated 1 out of 5 by WenieMommie great idea ... bad design
my 13 lb doxie was forced to wear a cone after cyst removal on his right front paw ... the hard plastic cone was awful .. I drove 35 miles and paid almost $30 for this product. First, the inner "bladder" did not hold air at all, I almost expected that after reading the reviews, but the worst part was, after I got the collar fitted on Otto, he bent his neck down OVER the collar and began chewing his foot!!! the collar did not even slow him down a second. Tried adjustments, each time he could get to his foot again. So .... back the the awful hard plastic cone to the wenie boy! I will be returning this product

If you can read directions (yes, I recommend - as many reviews stated they couldn't get past the inflation step) and your dog is not too out of control, then you will love this product. Don't recommend if you're planning on using long term, or for an area the dog will be able to reach; you will need a traditional ecollar. This is otherwise the best invention since sliced bread! I am on my way to buying a second one for my second rescue after his surgery and would never let him suffer in an ecollar!

This collar works great. I have a dachshund who had surgery on her eye. The inflatable collar gave her the ability to eat, play and get around without running into anything. It stayed inflated with no problem. I would recommend this to anyone who does not want to use the plastic cone on their animal.

My pominese was going crazy with a traditional cone after being spayed. The sneaky little thing that she is, she was able to figure out how to get the cone off and go to town on her incision. We picked up this inflatable collar at our local pet smart and not only did it work like a charm but it doesn't bother our pup one bit! She seems much more content wearing this collar compared to the cone and there's no way she's getting this one off. She wasn't thrilled getting it on (I don't blame her) but once it was on she didn't seem to mind it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a pup that hates the cone or has a habit of finding way to get their cone off!
