21st Century Inflatable Protective Pet Collar
Highly recommend, worked great!
When my dog had surgery the vet gave her a cone collar to protect her stiches. I was thinking of getting the inflatable pet collar but read the reviews and decided against it. When my dog was so skiddish and not acting normal I took her back to the vet 5 days after surgery and she determined the cone collar was causing her stress. At that point I purchased the inflatable collar and she immediately was more relaxed. She could walk better, see better, and was more comfortable. I wish I had purchased this collar right after her surgery. I highly recommend this inflatable collar, it has worked great for my dog.

Great but depends on the area you are protecting
Pros: It is more comfortable for the dog and it is much easier for them to negotiate stairs, doorways etc. My dog didn't really even try to remove it.
Cons: Depending upon the area that needs protecting and the shape of your dog, the collar may not offer the necessary protection. For example, I don't think it would work for most areas on dogs with long legs because they can still reach their ears and face with their legs and they most likely still have access to all of their paws to chew on. But if the injury was in the rump area, I think it would be OK. I think it would be great for smaller dogs or dogs with stubby legs because it would limit access to just about everything.

I bought this collar for my 7 m.o. border collie when he got fixed. The moment I put it on him, he began licking at his incision. I was really disappointed that the collar didn't work. However, Petsmart let me return the collar w/ out any issues... maybe it was b/c the man in front of me was returning the same exact collar! It sounds like the collar works great for some & not for others. If it works for you great, if not, just return it (explain what happened). **FYI: The cashier I returned this collar to said this product gets returned A LOT.

Thankfully I found this!
My 80 pound greyhound, who is extremely sensitive, was attacked by an unleashed pitbull and the vet put him in a no bite collar to keep him away from his staples and wound. He cried, panted and paced for hours straight until I took it off. I went to Petsmart and bought every type of no bite collar I could find. I put this one on him and he now he will walk, eat, drink, sit and sleep. It actually saved me because he would not even lay down in the original collar. I am so thankful I found this product. The only drawback was the sizing. We had to buy a bit larger for his neck size because the medium was too small and the large a little too big. He is comfortable, though, and right now that is all that matters!
