Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great clumping pine litter! This is one of the best pine litters I have used, and I have used a lot. (For reference, I find the most popular and widely available pine litter, Feline Pine, to be only mediocre.) However, if you are not familiar with pine litters and have only ever used clay clumping litters, pine litters are different. You have to decide which trade-off matters most to you. 1) Clumping: this clumps well for pine litter, but no pine litter clumps or holds clumps as well as clay. You have to scoop at least once every two days, preferably daily. (I have two cats and one box, so I scoop daily to keep things getting out of control.) If you want to be a lazy litter scooper, stay away from pine. They will fall apart if not scooped soon enough. However, this brand seems to hold its clumps better than most other pine clumping brands I've used. 2) Scent: LOVE IT. I find pine litter to be one of the best at covering the scent of urine and feces (assuming the cat is kind enough to bury it), and it has a nice scent period. Far superior to clay litters. 3) Tracking: all natural litters track way more than clay. This one is no exception. It is a consequence of the fact that they tend to be lighter weight. Much easier to haul home from the store, but much more likely to stick to your cats paws and fur and fall off somewhere further from the box. Learn to love your broom/vacuum if having the litter around bothers you. 4) Environmental friendliness: beats clay litters, hands down. It's flushable (assuming you're not trying to flush 4 days worth at a time). It's made from a natural biproduct of a natural product. It's safe to have around the cats and the home. A bonus of the pine/cedar blend is that it can even help repel moths near the litter box. So, if you are already a natural litter user and looking to try something new, this is a great option. If you are looking to switch from clay, I suggest you decide what features of a cat litter are most important to you before you make that change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect litter for me. I have tired many different natural cat litters (I despise clay litter) and each one has not really worked for my cats and I for different reasons. I used World's Best for a while but the litter box recently started to smell like mildew and after researching, I found out that corn litters can easily grow mold! Then I tried Blue Buffalo Walnut litter and really liked it at first. It clumped good, had a pleasant smell, and good odor control. But one of my cats likes to dig A LOT in the litter box and that litter is extremely messy so it ended up all over the house. Next I tried the Senior Silica litter since it says it's good for preventing UTI's which my cat is prone to... BAD mistake! I should have known from the extremely dusty bag that it would be, but that is without a doubt the dustiest litter I've ever seen! Just picking up a small amount of it in your hands makes a dust cloud and my cat started coughing as soon as I opened the bag! So I returned that and I found this litter that's all natural, clumping, no corn, reasonably priced, and has odor control! It's definitely the best litter I've tried yet. I was worried that it wouldn't clump since it's 100% pine and cedar, but it's clumping perfectly, and there's NO stinky odor, the room smells like pine trees now which I love. It is a little dusty since the shavings are so fine, but it's not messy and I feel much better knowing that it's natural and not silica dust. SO happy with this litter!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely dusty and tracks everywhere. I was super excited to try a non-clay litter with my new kitten. After 18 years of clay litter use I wanted a change. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this product and returned it. Pros: clumps well and has a nice fresh smell. Cons: VERY dusty and messy, sticks to paws and fur and gets on everything the cat touches.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too strong I tried this litter when I couldn't find the Tidy Cat version of pine/corn at my store. Though this product does have a pine smell it is too strong..almost like Pine Sol. I have six cats and the smell was too strong for them. I used it up by mixing a small portion with sWheat scoop - which works great if you are looking for a non clay litter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this natural cat litter. I just bought this natural cat litter product and notice that my cat is much more comfortable using the litter box; I'm very happy that my cat is safe. The room, where the litter box is located, is smelled very pleasant with the scent of pine & cedar and is not as offensive as the previous litter products that I had used. THANK YOU ARM & HAMMER for this safe and wonderful product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent clumping and odor control. This is the best litter! I have four cats and two litter boxes. With four cats, I clean the cat boxes daily. Given the texture of the litter, I did not expect it to clump very well. Much to my surprise, this litter clumps better than any of the natural clumping litters. The natural cedar and pine smell takes care of both solid and liquid waste odor better than any of the natural clumping litters, too. I only hope Arm and Hammer continues to provide Pet Smart with this terrific cat litter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Odor Control Litter!!! I love, love, love, this litter. It controls orders better FreshStep Multi-Cat, which I always consider a great litter. I have an adult cat and two kittens. All three immediately adjusted from gritty litter to this soft, smooth litter. I like it because the litter doesn't scratch my floor! We all know, even with the best litter mat, litter still spreads into the room. Plus it much better for the environment and landfills, and it is lighter to carry than traditional litters. IT APPEARS PETSMART MAY STOP CARRYING THIS LITTER!!! Or Arm & Hammer is discontinuing it? I am driving to the PetsMart's in my Metro area today, and buy whatever they have left.
