Rated 4 out of 5 by from Adorable I only have had mine for two days so far but the little dude is so cute and chill. I was told that it's rare to find a dragon that eats dead crickets but this little guy happily eats them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from video is rong By the way this is not the animals fault but the video. This video is not right. First off you need a 40 gallon tank at lest 55 or more world be nice. 2 do your research first I am 11 and I have been do research since I was 5 on bearded dragons, bunnies, dogs, leopard geckos, hermite crabs, fish, and more. 3 I love Petco and petsmart but they need to tell people everything like a 40 gallon is good for babies but for adults I have a 75 gallon and you need a calcium dish, a humid hide, and more. This was not to says that the animal was bad but the video

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME I love these types of lizards my step dad had one. When I went to his house to play with his kids I first met it. I didn't know if it was a girl or a boy so I just called it Mikey because it had orange eyes which reminded me of the orange ninja turtle. On 5/28/17 I went to golden corral for my dads birthday then I asked to go look for a replacement because Mikey died 10/29/16. I seen a baby bearded dragon that looked about 2 weeks old. I asked my mom if I could get it because I would say "Mom, look its a little lizard if I get him I will name him Little Guy because when in said Little Guy he perked his head up just like he was listening to me say his name. I had to leave with my mom and I cried the whole way home. Here is a picture of Mikey

is it ok to put two of the same gender of dragons in the same tank

Asked by: hgvttvb
No. They will need to be housed separately. Dragons can be quite territorial with each other but are very sweet to humans.

Can i put a juvenile bearded dragon in a 40 gallon breeder tank?

Asked by: Leopard_gecko_lover
Yes but you should put dark construction paper or a pattern on the outside of the tank except the front viewing spot so they don’t feel surrounded

What type of vegetables will it eat?

Asked by: Mewantlizard
@marrie, lettuce isn't good for them. Tomatoes are poison. They can not eat just any type. @joannam18, kale isn't good. @mewantlizard, please Google the correct foods.

Do i need to keep my heating lamp on all night for my bearded dragon or can i shut it off at night?

Asked by: Nackattack77
Correction on the one comment. Do not ever use the red or any color bulbs! Basking light and uvb on 12 hours and off 12 hours. A digital timer is crucial. If your house is colder than 65 at night use a CHE (ceramic heat emitter ) in a single Dome to get the right night temp. No lights at night.

What size tank,how much heat

Asked by: INEEDANSWERSPLZ
Tank size minimum 40 gallon "breeder style". Basking spot should be around 100°F. You will need a tube style UVB bulb as well that runs approximately the length of the tank for Vitamin D absorbtion. Cooler side is to thermoregulate aka cooler Dragon. Around 78°F. Do not house any Bearded Dragon below 72°F night or Day! They rely on us humans for heat and UVB as they cannot warm up to heat similar to Australia as they are cold blooded reptiles.

I am looking to buy one of these what size tank should I get?

Asked by: Kdavis14
They need a minimum of 40 gallons as an adult. If you find your dragon growing bigger than your average berded dragon you should upgrade to something a little bigger. When they are young you could put a baby in a 20 gallon, but you will just need to upgrade to a larger tank as it grows. I would suggest getting the bigger tank because you are going to need to upgrade anyway. Good luck and try to get a tank between the 40-60 gallon range but the bigger the better.
