How is Medication Given?
Before use, ultrasonography or rectal palpation should confirm that the ovarian follicle of the cyclic estrous mare is larger in diameter than 30 mm. Proper follicle detection (30 mm to 40 mm) and estrus diagnosis determine the effectiveness of this product. Administer no more than 1 mL to each mare during a single estrus cycle. Settling is to be expected with this product. To warm this product to room temperature, roll the vial back and forth between your palms or set the vial out at room temp for about 30 minutes before use. Prior to use, shake vial thoroughly for a full minute. Administer intramuscularly at a rate of 1 mL per mare in the thick neck musculature.
What Results Can I Expect: SucroMate Equine is an analog suspension containing gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), otherwise known as Deslorelin Acetate.

Possible Side Effects:
SucroMate has caused injection site swelling in safety and effectiveness studies. All cases resolved within five to fourteen days. Do not use in hypersensitive animals.
Precautions:
Efficacy of this product is based upon developing follicle detection with a diameter of 30 mm to 40 mm. Shake thoroughly prior to use. Rectal palpation or ultrasonography should be used two ensure that the cyclic estrus mare has a minimum of one ovarian follicle over 30 mm. One dose (1 mL) should be administered in each mare during estrus.
Storage Recommendations: Keep product upright and refrigerated between 36 to 46 degrees F (2 to 8 degrees C).
