Usage: Polyglycan should be administered by a veterinarian or other authorized licensed practitioner ONLY. Sterile equipment* and proper aseptic technique should always be used. *Injectable medications require additional supplies, including needles and syringes. These are not included with the medication and must be purchased separately. Please consult your veterinarian for guidance regarding appropriate needle and syringe sizes for your pet. Manufacturer Directions for Use: Instill Polyglycan directly into the synovial space to replenish lost synovial fluid. Quantity to be determined by Veterinarian Surgeon. Discard any unused portion of vial contents.
Side Effects: There are no known side effects reported for this product. As with other injectable products, localized reactions at the injection site, including swelling, irritation, discomfort, and pain, may occur. Notify your veterinarian if your pet experiences any of the effects described above, or if you notice any other side effects that are persistent or troublesome. If you notice anything unusual, please consult your veterinarian.
Precautions: For veterinary use in horses only. This device is restricted to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. Do not administer to animals that are to be slaughtered for use in food. Keep out of reach of children. Inspect the vial before each use. Do NOT use if the solution has changed in appearance (e.g., color, presence of visible particles). These are signs that the product is no longer fit for use. Do not administer to animals with a known history or suspected allergy⁄hypersensitivity to this product or any of its ingredients. Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Please inform Vetsource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known sensitivities or allergies, especially to medications and supplements. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, discontinue therapy and call your veterinarian immediately or seek emergency veterinary attention. Symptoms may include (but are not limited to): swollen lips, tongue, face, or airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; and widespread hives or itching.
Drug & Food Interactions: Caution must be exercised in the administration of Veterinary Lactated Ringer´s Injection, USP to patients receiving corticosteroids or corticotropin. While there are no other documented drug or food interactions with this product, potential interactions may still be possible. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when multiple medicationsand⁄or supplements are given together. Please ensure your veterinarian is aware of all medications, supplements, and over–the–counter (OTC) products that your pet is currently using. Your veterinarian may prescribe multiple medications, even if a potential drug interaction may occur. In these instances, your veterinarian may adjust the dosages or monitor your pet more closely.

Storage: Refrigerate whenever possible. DO NOT FREEZE. Maintain product at or below 65ËF during shipment and storage. Keep in a secure location out of the reach of children and pets. Exposure to extreme temperatures or moisture may affect the integrity and effectiveness of medications, supplements, and other products. Always store this product properly (e.g., away from the bathroom, kitchen sink, or other damp places).
