    DESCRIPTION:

    Adequan Equine is intramuscularly administered to treat: Carpal and hock joint lameness associated with joint dysfunction, Trauma-related joint conditions, and Non-infectious degenerative joint conditions.

    Key Benefits: Adequan increases synovial fluid within the joints of arthritic horses. This allows for a decreased inflammatory response, improves the production of cartilage, and helps keep the joint fluid healthy.

    Formulated For: For horses only.

    How is Medication Given? Recommended dosage rate is 500 mg administered at 4-day intervals for a 28-day period. Administer intramuscularly. Clean the intended injection site thoroughly before injecting. Never mix with another solvent or drug.

    What Results Can I Expect? Adequan Treats arthritis symptoms in horses. It is useful following surgical procedures, and contributes to managing non-infectious arthritis associated with trauma or degeneration. It is proven to relieve osteoarthritis symptoms

    What Form Does Medication Come In? Injectable

    Dose and Administration: Sold in a vial containing 50 mL (100 mg per mL).

    Possible Side Effects: There are no known adverse reactions associated with this medication.
