    DESCRIPTION:

    Pentoxifylline is useful in treating peripheral vascular and cerebrovascular diseases associated with impaired microcirculation.

    Dose and Administration: Tablets are sold individually in a strength of 400 mg.

    Possible Side Effects: High dosage rates can cause the following side effects:

  • Restlessness
  • Caffeine-like jitters
  • Dizziness
  • Rapid heart rate
  • Seizures (particularly in pets with seizure conditions)

    These reactions may occur, but could be prevented when administered in combination with food:

  • Nausea
  • Inappetence
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea

    If you observe these or any other unusual symptoms, consult your veterinarian.

    Precautions Keep away from children and animals. Pursue emergency treatment if accidentally consumed.

    Storage Recommendations: Avoid extreme temperatures, do not freeze, avoid direct sunlight and store in a childproof container. Keep in a cool and dry environment.
