How is Medication Given? Before applying MIcaVed, clip the hair around the area to be treated, and keep it trimmed during the treatment period. Once a day, apply a light coating of the lotion to affected areas. Use a cotton swap or gauze to make application easier. Treat area for 2-4 weeks. If no noticeable improvement occurs within 2 weeks, talk to your vet. Note that in cases of severe infection, you may need to continue treatment for up to 6 weeks.
