DESCRIPTION:

Otomax is an antimicrobial and corticosteroid ointment used to treat acute or chronic otitis externa (swimmer's ear) associated with yeast or bacteria susceptible to Gentamicin.

Key Benefits: Otomax uses a trio of active ingredients (Gentamicin, Clotrimazole, and Betamethasone) to deliver anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal action against infections of the outer ear and the inflammation that often accompanies such infections.

Formulated For: Intended for dogs.

What Results Can I Expect? Otomax effectively treats acute and chronic otitis.

What Form Does Medication Come In? Ointment

Dose and Administration: Sold in tubes containing 7.5 grams, 15 grams, 30 grams, or 215 grams.

Possible Side Effects: Gentamicin, one active ingredient of this product, is associated with potential side effects. Although the skin does not absorb this ingredient well, it can cause reversible or irreversible damage to the kidneys or ear toxicity if it is topically applied to a burn, denuded skin, or a large wound for an extended period of time.

Precautions: This product can interact negatively with others. Inform your veterinarian about every medication and product your pet takes to rule out potential interactions.

Storage Recommendations: Keep product temperature between 2 and 25 degrees C (36 and 77 degrees F)
