DESCRIPTION

Drontal Plus is an all-inclusive deworming medication that functions by eliminating a wide variety of harmful worms. Its primary purpose is to eradicate infestations caused by intestinal worms such as hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, and tapeworms.

    Precautions
    Handle the feces of any dog infected with E. multilocularis extremely carefully. An infected and newly treated dog may shed eggs after treatment. Dogs should be held in the veterinary clinic to allow for incineration or autoclaving of his or her feces. In cases where this is not possible, the eggs can be destroyed at home by soaking feces in a solution of sodium hypochlorite. Use this solution to clean holding and contact areas as well. All treated areas should be cleaned prior to reuse.

  • Never administer to a pregnant animal.
  • Keep out of reach of children and animals.

    Storage Recommendations: Store in a cool and dry location.

    Possible Side Effects: Negative side effects are rare, but may include:

  • Vomiting
  • Inappetence
  • Diarrhea

    Pet should be closely monitored for signs of an adverse reaction. If signs are observed, consult your veterinarian.
