Possible Side Effects: The most frequently reported adverse reactions include transient injection site redness, stinging, or swelling.
Precautions: Lidocaine is typically tolerated well. However, like any local anesthetic, side effects are possible as a result of inadvertent intravascular or subarachnoid injection, hypersensitivity, overdose, or faulty technique. In case of respiratory arrest, use oxygen to resuscitate immediately.
