What Form Does Medication Come In? Tablet

Dose and Administration: Tablets are sold individually in 0.1 and 0.2 mg strengths.

Possible Side Effects: At a high dose, fluid retention is possible. Certain patients also experience eye inflammation (conjunctival irritation). If you observe fluid retention, consult your veterinarian right away.

Precautions:

  • Not proven safe for use in pregnant cats or dogs.
  • Never administer to an animal who is prone to blood clotting, such as an animal with heart disease.
  • Consult your vet to rule out potential drug interactions with other medications your pet is taking. Interactions may occur with many medications, including Fludrocortisone, Heparin, or Epinephrine.
  • Never administer to a pet who has a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to this drug.
  • Keep out of reach of animals and children.

    Storage Recommendations: Store at room temperature between 68-77 degrees F (15-25 degrees C). Avoid extreme temperatures and light.
