We took in a catalog and they matched the price. What a plus that Petsmart has. We've been using it with our Golden Retriever since he was 8 weeks old. Kept moving the divider as he grew. He is now 11 months. Maybe luck, but I think a great potty training tool as well. He NEVER had an accident in his crate. Great solid construction with the exceptions of the plastic handles. Setting it up, one of the handles broke. Called Midwest and they replaced it, no charge. Highly recommend this product.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2008-02-04</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2008-02-04" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1852680"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="MidWest&reg; Life Stages Single Door Folding Dog Crate" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">lukey</span> from <span itemprop="name">Dog Cage</span> <span itemprop="description">This is a very good cage. It is easy to put together but just watch your fingers when you lock in the front and back parts of the cage. The divider is good because it lets the puppy grow with the cage. The cage is well built. I have dropped the cage many times and it still is perfect. That cage is always being thrown in and out of the car for agility shows. I have 3 small mini pinschers, and they are very wild! Each one has their own crate, and the second I open the door they get in. They stay quiet in there, don't destroy anything and although a lot of people complain about the plastic pan, I find it hard for a dog to destroy it... My dogs used to destroy carpets, whatever was underneath the carpet (wood, nails, etc), couch and much more. I tried all kinds of training with them, and the crate training has been the most successful one. I hope my review is useful for those who have small dogs too -- I ended up buying the Giant Crate (48&quot;) so each one of them would have much space in there to move around when we are not home.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2012-03-13</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2012-03-13" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="38991760"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="MidWest&reg; Life Stages Single Door Folding Dog Crate" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">JenniferLD</span> from <span itemprop="name">Great crate</span> <span itemprop="description">Great crate. The crate was not only bigger but was also cheaper! The pull out plastic tray is awesome for accidents and easy clean up and the divider that is included is great for as my puppy grows. My husky puppy was using a 24&amp;rdquo; at that weight, but now he is closer to almost 20lbs &amp;amp; I need to get him a larger crate. He&amp;rsquo;s 4 1/2 months &amp;amp; outgrew his 24&amp;rdquo; crate very fast. But it was perfect for him when he was smaller (&amp;amp; at 12 lbs). You also cant go wrong with a 30&amp;rdquo; if you want your dog to have a lot more room, though this may not be good if your pup tends to have accidents. If they have too much room sometimes a dog will go potty in one corner &amp;amp; then lay down in another corner. <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: Crys13</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2019-07-29</div> </div> </div> <div class="bvseo-question-answer" data-questionid="4818357"> <h2 class="bvseo-question"> Can I purchase two and lock them together so that my pet uses one side to rest and the other to potty in ..... </h2> <div class="bvseo-question-detail"> </div> <div class="bvseo-author">Asked by: Pauline0915</div> <div class="bvseo-answer" data-answerid="5022134"> Possibly. The doors don&amp;rsquo;t open flat against the sides, so you might need to remove them. Probably the side doors would be best for this. Then you would still be able to pull out the pans. They pull toward the end doors. Without removing the side doors, it might still work but you would need to watch for the space created by the doors being partially opened as you pull the cages together. Plus the doors will be sticking out some from the whole setup once pulled together. Removing the doors probably is best option. <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: HowlerMan</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2019-05-24</div> </div> </div> <div class="bvseo-question-answer" data-questionid="4090742"> <h2 class="bvseo-question"> What is the difference between the Midwest Life Stages Single Door Folding Dog Crate and the Midwest iCrate? </h2> <div class="bvseo-question-detail"> </div> <div class="bvseo-author">Asked by: ash23_2004</div> <div class="bvseo-answer" data-answerid="4760471"> My understanding is that the life stages crate is heavier duty than the icrate <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: Steve2142</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2019-02-01</div> </div> </div> <div class="bvseo-question-answer" data-questionid="4487325"> <h2 class="bvseo-question"> I have a female pitbull that likes breaking out of cages. My guess is separation anxiety. You will need to work with her in small time increments, starting with just in and praise, treat and let out. Increase your time enough that it is longer but she doesn&#39;t begin to get anxious. Once you are up to say 15-20 minutes with her laying comfortably in the crate begin walking out the door. Literally your first time doing this will be out the door &amp;amp; right back in, praise, treat &amp;amp; let out. Mix this with longer times in the crate with you home and keep, slowly building each of the 2 to longer time frames.
