Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome rats! These rats are extremely good quality! They appear to be very healthy and don't have that "off" odour you get from some frozen rodents. They are a bit more expensive than other places, but well worth it for the quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My snake's favorite My ball python is always ecstatic for these rats. I think I only ever got one slightly flawed rat in the year that I've been buying them. I love that when buying a box with multiple prey items, they are all individually bagged so there isn't that gross "rat ice block". Always clean and fat!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Yuck I bought a box of 2 small rats for my ball pythons. One of the rats had obviously been dead for a while prior to freezing, because it smelled terrible when thawed and was a dark grey-purple color. I would blame the store (maybe the cooler isn't staying cold enough or someone left the door open one day, and thawed the rat out) but the other rat seemed fine other than a slight odor. I threw the smelly purple rat away, which was a waste of money. The mice I also bought were very undersized and kind of stinky, and one of my snakes regurgitated a mouse. I won't be buying from Arctic Mice again.

What do outside garter/grass snakes eat?

Asked by: Sherlene
It depends on the species. Some will eat raw fish, others will eat earthworms. I’d recommend leaving them outside, however, as they can die pretty easily.

Is this for 10 of the 10 packs

How big are these rats? Like 30-50 grams?
