My pup is a basset hound mix, and anyone who owns one knows how hard it is to find booties that fit their odd shaped front paws. I've tried the fancy velcro ones, but because of her paws they don't stay on for more than a couple of steps. I just purchased these today (in large) and they fit perfectly AND stay on! She was even running around in them and they stayed snug in place. They don't have fleece or anything in them, but just keeping the snow and salt off of her paws is enough to protect them from the pain of a Minnesota winter.
Date published: 2015-01-05

Rated 5 out of 5 by margaritaky from These boots save me so much time and hassle, my prayers were answered. We have new construction home with mud for a yard. My babies, big american bulldog and medium sized frenchie, most of the time lay on the couch, but when we go for walks, these boots save the pups from getting mud all over their cute paws and my new wood floors. The first time my frenchie wore them, they were magical because he was running and jumping around so excited that he has new magic red shoes. After some practice, I can now put them on w/o my husband, and wash and reuse. Remember to put a little powder inside after they are cleaned and dry, easier to put on and take off the pups. I highly recommend this product, this is the first review I've written, but truly believe these boots are the BOMB!
Date published: 2015-06-03

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovemydogalot from I finally found booties that my dog can wear These were the fourth type of booties I tried for my dog and they so work. I’m so happy his paws are protected from the cold weather. His paws can splay and grip in them and he doesn’t mind them at all. They were somewhat difficult to put on so I devised a contraption using a plumbing coupler. Works like a charm. Completely recommend these booties. Pictures of how I put them on are included.
Date published: 2019-01-26

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pancho82 from Does work These XLG green paw covers work well. I use them on a 70 lb English Bulldog. They take a minute to get on, but once they are on they stay on, through deep snow, rain, they're on until you take them off. Tight but no indication that the dog is in pain with them on. They feel like really thick ballon material. They are better than the others I tried, the other kinds fall off easier. They did get a hole in them when he started bitting them, but he rarely bites them.
Date published: 2015-02-04

Rated 5 out of 5 by Doodlelover1 from Great 'booties' I have tried other boots for my mini-golden doodle and she pulled them off - or they fell off on their own [after a fight to get them on]. She doesn't fight getting these on and then they stay on very well. With 4" of hair, she gives a new meaning to wet paws. These stop nearly all that kind of mess - as she doesn't have wet feet when she comes in. Really like them. There are 3 sets in the package and she has used 1 set at least 6 times in a heavy snow followed by rain and melting snow...happy dry puppy and happy owner too! BTW, she is 32 pounds and wears size Medium comfortably.
Date published: 2015-03-05

Rated 5 out of 5 by luv2hike from I would give this a 10 if I could! I have two mixed breed dogs that love to walk in the snow, but I have to constantly stop and get the snow out of their paws, so it wasn't worth it. I've tried traditional dog boots, but they were able to kick them off immediately. These work great! I was skeptical at first, but when I read all the other good reviews I gave them a try. They do look like large balloons and they are a little difficult to get on the first time - making sure you get them over all their claws. Once the product was on their paws they ran around like there was nothing on them. They didn't try to get them off. They are tight enough at the top to hold them on their feet, but loose enough around their paws to not restrict movement. It was the best walk in the snow we have ever had!
Date published: 2016-01-22

Rated 5 out of 5 by Auntdebbie224 from Worth a try! I needed something for my 14 year old 20 lb. arthritic Pom mix who was having a terrible time getting traction on the hardwood floors once we took up the rugs. I also plan to use when there is snow and especially to protect his paws from the treated surfaces which cause him to yelp in pain when the salt gets on and up in his paw pads. I purchased Pawz Waterproof Boots size SMALL. I am getting the hang of putting them on him. Do it by myself. Am amazed that he isn't fighting with me as I struggle to put them on him. The down side is there is too much excess material in the paw. Oddly he doesn't seem to mind the extra material. Once I master putting them on him, I may try an XS. This product is definitely worth a try. I can't believe how he accepted them and maybe even appreciates that he feels more secure with them on.
Date published: 2016-01-11

Rated 5 out of 5 by CheesePotato from Total game changer in subzero temps I bought this product for my Shetland Sheepdog who struggled to go outside in the yard in deep, wet snow and subzero (-7 F) temps. She would signal to go outside but then promptly lie down on her side and hold up all her paws. I would have to go get her. I tried shoveling a path for her and she has a verbal command to finish her business. No luck. Just one miserable kid. So I went out and bought these for her in a size small. The xsmall is a better size but too tight around her leg (be careful of that bit). Yes she did the doggy hokey pokey the first time but adjusted very fast. And wow what a difference when I let her out. She bounded through the snow and took her time to finish her business. She was relieved, I was happy, all is right with the world. Note: This product does not give warmth to their feet. What it does is prevent snow and moisture from collecting painfully around their pads and toes. If your furkid is struggling with going outside in the biting cold, this may be your solution. The boots are reusable. Putting the boots on takes a bit of practice. But it's not so bad. Call your Petsmart before making a special trip for these. The website said my closest store had them and they do not carry this product.
Date published: 2016-12-19

PawZ® Rubber Dog Boots Reviews - page 2

y_2020, m_2, d_19, h_13

bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.5

cp_1, bvpage1

co_hasreviews, tv_0, tr_65

loc_en_US, sid_23185, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=HELPFULNESS, direction=DESCENDING), SortEntry(order=POSITIVE_FEEDBACK, direction=DESCENDING), SortEntry(order=SUBMISSION_TIME, direction=DESCENDING)]

clientName_petsmart

bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0

CLOUD, getReviews, 94ms

reviews, product
