Rated 5 out of 5 by HR0326 from Life Changing Cat Litter! Try It!!! I rarely write reviews...mostly when I feel people need to know that something is unsatisfactory or something is really great! My cat is 16 years old and over the years has gotten careless about using his litter box regularly. I took him to the veterinarian and had a complete check-up including blood work to be sure there wasn't any kind of a medical problem. He is completely healthy. I call it Old Cat Syndrome. I started researching to see if I could do anything to convince Jerry to use his box and came across a website that recommended Cat Attract! I immediately ordered it from the local feed store and then found out that I was able to buy it from PetSmart at a lower price. I can't believe how well it worked. Jerry still pooped on the floor once in awhile which I was able to live with. When I ran low, I went back to buy more and saw "Touch of Outdoors." Since Jerry was once an indoor/outdoor cat, I thought I would give it a try. It has been life changing - two months without anything outside of the litter box! I work at an animal shelter and I told the employees about this litter and they are now recommending it to people who call in and want to surrender their cat because of litter box problems. This litter is like a miracle and has the potential to save the lives of many cats!

Rated 5 out of 5 by FeralFriend04 from Amazing product for non health related urination I rescue cats. All cats from all kinds of situations. I recently took in a Bengal that appeared to have always been outdoors. He would use blankets and pillows in place of the litter box for both #1 and #2. After an extensive veterinary visit and being neutered he used the box for #2 always and #1 when he didn't have cloth around him and when he felt like it. A rescue I volunteer for recommended this product. I put about two cups worth on top of the litter I use and instantly you could see a light bulb go off in this kitty's eyes! I started this 5 days ago and he has not had a single accident!! (Before he was having 1-3 accidents daily) I highly recommend this product for behavioral urination (unsure about spraying).

Rated 5 out of 5 by ShineyObjects from Litter I love this stuff! I mix 2/3 of this with 1/3 Nature's Miracle Natural Care Clumping / Odor Control Litter (corn). So far, this is the combination that works for me and my two middle aged cats. I scoop the 2 litter boxes I have at a minimum once a day. I just wish I could have this delivered to my house like I did the last time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chookie from No Dust! This is the first cat litter I have found that truly is 99% dust free! Can't imagine using any other litter after finding this. I live in an apartment so keeping the litter dust down is a must. Love this litter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Patchy from Great clumping I bought Dr. Elsey's touch of outdoors a week ago and I love the fact that it clumps really really hard less litter on the floor nearly no dust and pretty good with the odor control and I was no longer sneezing from the smell of the litter (allergies). I have multiple cats more than 3 so this litter is a bit pricey but still very good thats the pro's the cons because it's great at clumping I need to add more very often. Great clumping. No more urine getting glued to the litter box. Coupon's would be welcomed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TerPa from Best Litter Ever! I researched and discovered this brand, Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat, after finally becoming fed up and disgusted with our old, clay cat litter from the grocery store. Since two of our four cats were originally outside, we decided to try the Touch of Outdoors and it really is the "miracle litter" they claim it to be! We placed a couple of boxes down with the Touch of Outdoors and left a couple of boxes with the old clay litter around, in case the new stuff didn't go over well. We needn't have worried! Now, maybe once in a blue moon, the cats will leave one "tinkle" in the old stuff, but the majority of uses are in the Touch of Outdoors litter. It clumps beautifully, leaving no urine behind and best of all, no more dust up my cats' noses, up MY nose and in my eyes when I clean the boxes and all over our home in general. Plus, NO perfume-y "fragrance"! You don't NEED that when you have a litter with TRUE high quality, like this one. Dr. Elsey, you are our hero and you have saved our respiratory health (I include my cats in that) and cut my dusting time around my house by 75%! I'd like to say I was exaggerating, but I'm not. BEST litter we've used in over 30 years of owning cats. Period.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MasterMarglar from Great cat litter if you have a finicky cat try it! I have tried others in the past from clay to worlds best cat litter my cats had loved the worlds best cat but as they got older they got fussy with not sure the smell or they were tired of it. Went and tried the new scent and this did the trick have 2 cats left as we had to recently put one down do to liver failing. But still use this brand to get them to go in the pans.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kickinitolskool from This litter turns to cement! I bought this because I used a Dr. Elsey's/Precious Cat product or two in the past and wanted to try it, especially since the price was right at just under $9 for 20 pounds. Everything started out alright, until my cats began using it. I scoop the litter boxes daily (okay, sometimes I skip a day. I know, I know...I'm a bad cat mom.) but with this I'm finding I basically need to stand guard and scoop immediately after they urinate. If I don't, this 'clumping' litter clumps right into a cement ball that is nearly impossible to scoop with a plastic litter shovel. Also, because it clumps so tight, when I do finally scrape up the cement balls, they break apart and little clumps, too small to get caught in my scoop, are left behind. These get tracked all around the litter box on the floor. I recently dumped what was in the box to refresh it (with a different litter) and after scrubbing and washing for what felt like a year, I was finally able to get the sticky, urine-soaked mud-like substance left behind off the sides of the litter box. I will stay far away from this particular Dr. Elsey's product in the future.

Touch of Outdoors Cat Litter is low dust and hard clumping but it does have a slightly different texture than the R and R clumping clay.

I have an older asthmatic cat and she is having issues with litter I've tried just about everything including Dr. Elsey's R & R and there is still a lot of dust. Is this litter really as dust free as people are saying?
