Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size of kibbles My Westie loves this food , she eats dry &canned. I Find the dry is easier for her to eat than the older Duck &Potato version. Digests both very well and no allergy problems.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I work for a veterinary office and see many dog foods that say they help wIth allergies, but nothing has come close yet. I have been feeding the canine HP to both of my dogs for the past year. I have really noticed an improvement with their skin allergies. The only complaint I have is that I have noticed a weight gain with both dogs (one that needed it and the other definitely did not). I have reduced the amount that I feed them, but now they always seem hungry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hydrolyzed Protein I have to feed my dog this because she has IBS. If she is fed any other dog food it causes her stomach and bowels to become unbalanced. She is a 2 year old Rottweiller and was diagnosed at a year old. She will be fed this diet for the rest of her life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Taste My dogs (14yrs and 3yrs) both Shar Pei love this food. It has helped with their skin issues (infections) and smell tremendously. Since we have been feeding this formula we have not had one skin infection or hair loss. Been feeding for 3 years now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from helps with the alergies. Been using for over 3 years. It is a little to big for my little dogs but they do ok.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A life style changer Our Cairn was showing a decrease in her protein and had to undergo N Endoscopy. The Cet's determined she needed to be on a hydrolysis protein diet. Our Vet suggested Royal Canin and two years later it has improved her health enormously. We juggle because our other dog is in regular food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best for my Zoie Placed on food by vet after nearly dying due to food allergies and an infection. Started with canned being mixed and placed thru a feeding tube. Zoie was so happy when we got to change over to dry. I was thrilled just to hear the "crunch" of dry dog food! In the past 2 years we have changed back and forth between HP and PS. And recently used the hydrgolized protein in small bites. This dog food helped save my baby and I am forever thankful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for his digestive tract My dog was having problems with food and we had tried quite a few, including another prescription diet, with no luck. He had an ultrasound, which didn't show anything in particular. My vet suggested this particular formula and he has been doing really well on it. He will be 13 years old in November and his health has been good and people always compliment him on his beautiful coat.
