Description: Selarid® Topical Solution is a broad–spectrum, once–a–month topical application that prevents heartworm disease, kills fleas, prevents flea eggs from hatching, and treats and controls hookworms, roundworms, and ear mites in cats.

Drug Interactions: No known drug interactions. Consult your veterinarian regarding concurrent medications.

General or Recommended Dosage: Apply as directed by your veterinarian every 30 days. Before use, open the pouch and remove the tube. Hold upright, snap off the tip, and keep upright to prevent leakage. Part the fur at the base of the neck, apply directly to the skin in one spot, and do not massage in. Do not apply to wet hair. Prevent licking for at least 30 minutes. Do not allow children to touch the application site until dry. Wash hands after application. Missed Doses Administer as soon as remembered unless it is close to the next dose. Do not double dose. Consult your veterinarian if a dose is missed.

Storage Instructions: Store at or below 86°F in original packaging. Keep in a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Potential Side Effects: Generally well tolerated. Possible effects include temporary hair loss, irritation at the application site, vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite, lethargy, salivation, incoordination, and itching. Contact your veterinarian if unusual symptoms occur.
