I purchased this product because it allowed a daytime and night time timer. I unpacked it and started setting up the clock and the timer, which was relatively easy. When I plugged it into the outlet and set the timer to auto the whole unit reset and I lost all my settings, so I reset it up again and the second i pressed the button to go to auto it reset again. So I returned it for a refund because they didn't have any other units. I bought two Brinks digital timers from Walmart that reset on me too so I don't know if its the outlet I plug it into. So I dug in my garage and pulled out two mechanical timers which has worked good ever since. Digital timers are nice and punctual but way too sensitive. My suggestion is go get a mechanical timer.

This power strip would be very useful if they had thought out the physical design a little more thoroughly. Like the previous reviewer found, the plugs are too close together, especially for some LED plugs that have DC converters on them - there simply isn't enough room and you end up having a wasted outlet that can't be used. I also had to purchase a different power strip with a timer to accommodate my needs. If only they would have given more room for larger plugs!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Capenterdon Nice timer, poor plug spacing
Seems like a nice timer. The design having two plugs on/off and two plugs opposite is great for lights/air pump when doing Co2! It has four full time on plugs for heaters, filters, etc.. My one major problem is the plugs are too close together! A lot of aquarium items have large wall wart plugs and you can't have two things side by side. I now have yet another power strip plugged in so I can have both lights on the timer. If this was updated with a wider spacing on the plugs it would be a fantastic product!
