Great for the 1.2 gallon National Geographic Betta tank. Plenty of material, even if it is too much. We had to move some of the material around in order to accommodate the filter's intake for the filtration system.

Rated 5 out of 5 looks great!
I purchased several of these to use in my 5.5 gal tank for my betta. I have a lot of greenery and these shells give it a nice natural look. Easy to clean and works fine with my live plants too

I bought this gravel when I was transferring my male Cambodian Veiltail Betta to his 1 gallon Tetra tank. On their own, the crushed sea shells look beautiful -especially in a tank with LED lights. They may look plain in the container, but once they are in the water (and maybe under the light) they give off a beautiful shine and colours.
I recently moved my little guy into a five gallon tank and I mixed the sea shells with river stones. Their shine add a nice touch next to the darker colours of the stones.
Over all, I definitely recommend this product! The shells are nice and soft (my betta likes to rest on them), and, because I have been asked, they are not too small to allow your betta to swallow them. (My only con is the price, then again though, I am a little cheap.)
