National Geographic™ Exploration Loft Small Animal Home
bought this for my little hammy. Its definitely visually appealing for humans. One thing I am finding is that the waterbottle leaks, and its very challenging to get my hammy out of the habitat without disassembling the entire thing.
The wheel she really hated and it is NOISY, so if you buy this product be prepared to replace it right away.
I am fine with this for now, mostly because she is still a baby (she is a Teddy Bear Hamster) but I do think I will exchange it for a larger model that is easier to access.

No good for gerbils
I purchased this for my two new gerbils due to how sleek it was and the walls being transparent. That with the included wheel and 'hide-a-way' it seemed like a good deal.
I was unsure about the size but the very friendly sales associate opened a box for me and convinced me it would be just fine for two gerbils. Even though skeptical, I bought it anyway and now regret it.
The hide-a-way hut lasted a total of 3 days. I knew gerbils liked to chew but wow.. it had totally disappeared. The wheel was totally useless. The little critters wouldn't even touch it. To save valuable space, I ended up removing it and sawing off the nub that it rotated on. It was replaced with a nice wooden hut them seem to love.
A month later, regardless of how many things I give them to chew on, the gerbils now prefer to chew on the ramps and plastic platforms of the home. At this rate it wont last another month. Really the only thing they haven't tried to destroy is the food dish and water bottle.
The really annoying thing is, my gerbils constantly scratch at all the corners of the home. I'm not sure if its because the walls are clear and they don't understand that they can't go any further down (or up) when burrowing, or that the home is just too small and they have a need to make more space. I try and give them as much bedding material as I can to burrow in, but they still insist on scratching at the corners, 90% of the time they're awake.
This item might be good for more passive chewers or smaller animals, but I can not recommend it for gerbils.

Ruined in only 10 days
I purchased this product for my son only 10 days ago. We have two gerbils in this home and they have chewed the hide-a-way house so that it no longer stays in place and falls down onto the lower level. The wheel was also chewed and it no longer stays attached. Who ever designed this should have known that gerbils would chew. Do not buy this product! You will only have to go and buy another habitat in a couple of weeks.
