An ok tank
First of all the "filtration system" is a joke. It's just a cheaply put together tube and under gravel thing that air comes out of, that sits right in the middle of the tank . It doesn't actually filter anything, and the air pump is loud and complete overkill for a tank this size. I use this tank for my betta, so I took it out so the powerful bubble flow wouldn't bother him. The lighting is a regular lightbulb and gives a yellow glare to the water. In the features part of the description it says something about an LED light with remote, but it's clearly just a lightbulb so I'm not sure what that means. Okay on to the tank. It's actually 1.7 gallons, though the product title makes it seem like 2 and in the description it says 1.6 which isn't right because it says 1.7 on the box. The tank is pretty good quality and seems pretty nice, and the shape of the tank is cool. Once you take out the cheap "filter traction system" there is actually a decent amount of room for my betta to swim around. The hood fits on nicely and looks good. The feeding hole is plenty big enough in my opinion ( other ppl said it was way to small) It also comes with an aqua safe trial pack and a food sample which is a cool. This is overall an ok tank and I would give it a 3.5/5

Excellent Betta Tank
I love this tank and so does my Betta. I had him in the smaller size (1 gall same brand), but had to change him once a week to keep him healthy. With this one I completely clean tank every 2 weeks, and it is easy. He is very happy, eating a lot, showing off and growing! I am in California so do not use heater. Do not scoop out left over food....I just watch him eat and try to feed only until he slows down and do not have much excess. Between the 7 watt bulb and the table light next to the tank he seems to be comfortable.

Small, but a good product
I used this tank for a single betta fish while I was in college. I like it because it has a rather small "footprint" and could easily fit on the desk in my dorm room. I cleaned it weekly and I put a small heater in it. I wouldn't recommend putting any more than a single betta in it, or maybe a small snail. My betta lived quite a long life in it, but as soon as I moved out of the dorm I got a larger aquarium for future fish.
