I bought this for my Siamese to play with while I'm at work, but literally the first time he swiped at it during a test run to make sure it worked, he cut the string. I was disappointed because he seemed really intrigued so I exchanged it for another one, but the new one doesn't spin, it just chirps and we had trouble getting it to stick to the table. The chirping alone doesn't excite him, and I think it's not worth exchanging again. Save your $20-30, don't buy this.

Bought this for my kitten & he loves to hear the chirp sound go off, he knows it's time to play. However, if the surface you've stuck the suction cut to isn't perfectly smooth and free of dust, one good wack and he pulled it down to the floor. Once we got that solved, he enjoyed for a few weeks until he chomped through thw elastic string used to dangle the ball. Now I have a $25 paperweight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Happycatjoy My adult cat Tiger had a blast batting this toy around! It reminds me of a game of teather ball, I placed it on the corner of my coffee table and he went at it for about an hour before I had to give him a forced break. I didn't have any problems with the string, it seams built very well.
