Rated 1 out of 5 by Bri8586 I have always loved Kong toys because they are durable. This product is not. I bought this for my pit/curr mix and she had it defuzzed and apart within an hour. The same day I bought the Kong Beaver toy that squeaks and holds a ball on clearance for $3. That toy she cant destroy or atleast she hasnt been able to yet. $15 vs $3 and the $3 toy was better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KaelaT Great Toy & Concept
I have a 35 pound Shepard lab/mix who is VERY hyperactive and energetic. This toy was an absolute lifesaver - the ON/OFF switch allowed for less headaches and more controlled playtime. My pup did tear at the fuzz and managed to shred some pieces, but the toy lasted about a year and a half until she broke the actual rubber. I definitely recommend this if you have an energetic pup who loves squeakers, but you don't want a migraine 24/7.

Rated 2 out of 5 by naw62 Very Disappointed
I'm so disappointed. I expected better of Kong. I love the concept - which is the only reason I gave it two stars. My German shepherd managed to pull the outer layer off of this in a matter of hours. I've been so happy with the durability of Kong toys in general that I was willing to spend nearly $15 on a dog toy. That won't happen again...

Rated 1 out of 5 by Del0 Great Idea, not constructed as strong as kong!
I saw this the other day and thought this was just the ticket for our Catahoula Leopard dog who loves squeakers! It was spectacular for about 3 hours and then, as everyone else has found, the squeaker housing came off. And then the tennis ball material fell off, and then the entire squeaker came out, and next the bone was torn in half.
I have purchased many Kong products and have had no issue, this was a first. After looking at the back of the packaging, it says "not a chew toy"! Ok, now I'm lost. I figure a toy with a squeaker means that it is supposed to be chewed....I dunno maybe I was wrong.
Well it was $$$ lost in minutes, but this will not deter me from buying Kong gear in the future. I still believe their toys are better than most others. I will just be sure to buy the Extreme line from Kong, and make sure there is no fine print as to exactly what kind of toy it is.
