The track itself is really great. I took out the original balls that have bells and put in separately sold plastic balls (not Kong) that don't make noise. My 4 month old kitten loves it. The feather toy that sticks into the top of the track is not stable and she whacked it right off in one swipe. All of the feathers fell off immediately too. The black feather tail type attachment also does not stay attached. It easily comes off. However, my kitten loves the track without these attachments. It's nice for her to play with instead of walking all over me in the middle of the night :P

Last August,I decided to keep a little feral kitten who was brought to me. I had bought another toy similar to this one,but this one is a HUGE hit with her. She loves to chase anything that makes noise/moves. If you have any cats/kittens that love to chase things, they will love this!

My cats played with the feathers a short time until they destroyed them Now hardly even look at the toy. A bad purchase does not bring up curiosity.

Purchased for a 9-month rescue male without much apparent human family interaction. He loves to play with this and gets in his licks with all parts. The tail and feather pieces can be switched. We sprinkled small kibble in the paths which got his interest going at first (easy). Balls have bells-not a night toy! We put the track up and get it down every couple of days. Small mice and other toys will fit in the track which adds new excitement. Worth the price for the exuberant interest it engenders in this wonderful boy cat.
