I bought this toy for my Australian Sheppard mix puppy. He loved the challenge but the internal yellow ball broke into two pieces within a few weeks of occasional use. I exchanged the toy for a new one, hoping that it was just that particular toy. After just a few uses, I had the same problem with the second ball. My dog is only about 20 lbs and not a particularly strong chewer. Definitely not worth the money.

Northman and I give this toy 4 stars. This is an awesome toy that releases treats/kibble from the hard plastic piece of the ball. This ball is very easy to fill with either treats or kibble compared to other treat dispensing toys Northman has. I STRONGLY recommend after the treats/kibble are all gone that you take the toy away. This toy is not indestructible and if there are not treats/kibble in the toy the dog will get frustrated and try to destroy it. The only problem I have that everyone else seems to agree is that the holes are not adjustable so that you can up the difficulty level. The treats/kibble just seem to fly right out and in piles. I will end up putting duct tape over the hole to make it smaller so that it will be more difficult.

Such poor quality. The treats rolled out in the first few rolls. Our dog chewed threw the blue rubber exterior ball and plastic cap in a matter of minutes. This toy was recommended to me by petsmart employee knowing my dog was more of a chewer and it was definitely a disappointment because it didn't last at all.

I've had the Holee-treat ball for a few months now and it's still used pretty regularly. My dogs, although rough on other toys, know how to interact with treat dispensing toys so it's not roughed up, just rolled around.
My biggest complaint is that it is ridiculously easy. My dogs empty this toy in a minute or two--even my foster dog who had never used a treat dispensing toy other than a Kong emptied this in under 5 minutes. I ended up putting a piece of duct tape over part of the hole to make it harder but it's still empties pretty quickly.
Because it is SO easy, it would make a very good toy for a dog who is brand new to food dispensing toys.
