I have a Saint Bernard / Pointer mix. This dog is hyper and strong, which is a bad combination when we are talking about destructive capabilities. To put it in perspective, I built a dog kennel for him out of chain link fence and he broke the chain link. He has even broken one of his canines trying to escape the kennels. We named him Houdini for his middle name. Every toy I buy him he destroys. When I buy toys for him I keep this in mind and dont pay too much for his toys. He destructs the indestructible Kong toys. Anyway on his birthday I splurge and buy him fun expensive toys. Last year(Feb 20, 2015) I bought this toy for him and he still has it. The sticker is worn off and it is a bit faded but it is still all together. We have probably played with this ball for 30 minutes about 5 times a week. And he plays on his own with this ball for about the same amount. This is our go to toy since all the others he destroys with in a day. When I tell him go get me the ball 95% of the time he gets this ball. I kick it, throw it, toss it high and I even brought it to a dog park once(which I will never do again) and the other dogs played keep away from me. Very happy with this toy and I wish he would hurry up and rip it up so I can buy the football version. I buy this toy for my friends dogs and get nothing but rave reviews from it. I would spend 60 dollars for this toy.

This was a really expensive toy and would probably be good for dogs who like to swim and fetch. My dog poked holes in it with first bite and took chunks out as soon as I turned my back. If your dog is a chewer, there are cheaper toys that will last much longer.
Otherwise, its a good ball that is easy for your pup to grip. Keep an old towel handy to wipe off all the slobber.. it gets nasty pretty quick.

Bought this for a friend's dog and he just won't stop playing with it. He even woke his owner up because he tossed it where he could not get it and wanted to keep playing

I have 2 Border Collies and they love to play fetch with soccer balls and/or footballs; however, they only last a few minutes and the balls are popped and deflated. I saw the large Chuck-It in the store and thought, "Why Not?" It was the best money spent! It's lasted over a month because it can't be popped. I did have to sew a seam up and the blue rubber is starting to crack, but we play ball about ever night. I'm buying another one and going to try the football to see if it bounces differently for more fun. Also, I use it as a play toy and not a chew toy, so when we aren't playing ball, it's put up. Give it a try.
