I have owned this tower for 4.5 years now and it has now reached the end of its life. Spooky has scratched it up lol. I have been completely happy with this tower, she is a hefty 14lbs and it handles her nicely. Due to a hurt leg she no longer climbs the side but when she did it rocked but stayed stable it never seemedclike it would fall down. She loves to sit on the top and stare down at her subjects or sit on the middle teir when she feels like being a part of the group. I am now looking at replacing it and am torn on weather to get this one again or to upgrade and get one with more platforms so she doesnt have to use the couch. But this tower is definatly on the short list.

I purchased this cat scratcher two years ago, and I need to replace it already. The carpet is cheap and pulls out every time he scratches on it, and my cat is now scratching wood in many of the areas. Also, if you have a larger cat, this is not the scratcher you want. I have to prop it in a corner because if he climbs up the right side he pulls it over. My next scratcher will hopefully have better quality carpet, and better stability. This scratcher would work if you have a smaller, weaker cat. I think I will try a different brand.

My kitten loves it. The height is perfect to meet her climbing needs, the hanging toy is a nice touch, and the attached scratching board and twine make getting a separate post unnecessary. She tears up and down like a cat possessed and it doesn't even wobble!
Like others have said, I do keep finding bits of the carpet covering, but it's not a big deal.

I bought this for a new kitten with endless energy but my 2 adult cats love it too. It's stable and sturdy. Just the right size for my house, not too big, not too small. (Carpet threads do pull out from being climbed on so vigorously, but it's not excessive.)
