by AWill Feels as cheap as it is
Feels like cheap plastic. I have small dogs, under 25 lbs, and the plastic hinge broke. Everything (except blade) is very lightweight plastic and they feel very cheap. It's difficult to tell through the plastic how shoddy they are, so hopefully I can help someone else from wasting money.

I had a friend who used this brand, so I went and got a pair for my dog. I just broke them in the same spot for the second time in the last year and a half. They break right on the plastic clips that connect the two sides. Don't waste your money on this, buy a different style/brand of clipper.

The clipper worked like a charm for the first nail. On the second, the blade became uncoupled from the lever mechanism, and nothing I could do could get it to go back again. I didn't think plastic would be an issue, since it seemed fairly heavy for its size. However, it's of exceedingly poor quality, so I cannot recommend buying this product unless you want to rebuilt a plastic pair of nail clippers.
