I bought these for two of my cats because of their obsessive scratching at the bedroom door when it is closed.
My oldest cat had half of them pulled off by the next day.
And my youngest still has hers on, but can still pull up the carpet!
These are worthless, sorry.

I have a kitten that I just got... my husband said if I got a cat I would have to declaw it, but I didn't want to do that. So I tried these. I researched the procedure online and followed the directions waiting for the 3 month old kitten to be relaxed and content. I had already been.playing with his feet so he would get him used to me working his feet.
The clipping even went extremely quick. I didn't cut the quick but next time I will leave more nail. Hold the paw for about 3 min and your done! We had sn intense romp session afterwards and they held great!
My kitty doesn't even seen to notice they are there until he tries to climb up on something. :-)

Rated 1 out of 5 by RanneMc These caps were easy enough to get onto my cat. The problem is that after I get them onto her claws, she sits there and pulls at them with her teeth. It takes her a while, but she eventually pulls them all off. When she walks, she acts as if they're uncomfortable. They may work for some people but my cat won't have any parts of them.

This product is very useful and I love the fact that it comes in a bunch of different colors. however, i have used the alternative which is Soft Paws and must say, that although Kitty Caps are good, soft paws are a better choice for maybe 2-3 dollars more.
But Kitty caps are a great product and great alternative to declawing. My first kitty hated them but after a few days accepted that they were just going to stay. My second kitty took to them almost immediately and didn't even notice that they were there.
Overall, I recommend this product.
