Rated 2 out of 5 by Rob1 i'm wondering what changed
I have used this litter for years. I've always had two cats and even with regular scooping, until about 2 months ago a 27 lb pail would last quite a long time. Now the cat urine is soaking through more of the litter creating huge boulders to scoop daily and the same tub of litter is lasting 2 -3 weeks, about half the time it did previously. FRUSTRATED!!

I have 3 cat's, my youngest is very picky. So i clean the boxes every other day and every week i change the boxes. The 24/7 does the trick, no one can tell that we have cat's. Which is great, we were using tidy cat eith glade and the scent would wear off quick. With the 24/7 i can shift the boxes and noticed the clean smell. Definitely recommend 24/7 especially with two or more cat's.

Over the last 5-6 containers we are seeing where the clumping action has dropped considerably from what it was for the last 3 years that we have been using it. Wonder if there has been a change in suppliers of the materials used or a formula change?

I'm in search of a good clumping litter that's not dusty. I have tried 5 brands so far with no luck, all claiming to be dust free. This one was interesting to say the least. Love how light it is, and that's about it... When I first put it out, I could smell it from the opposite end of the house (3000 Sq ft). Of course the cat avoided it for a whole day and went from tiny little #1 clumps to ginormous ones! I'm sure that's nice and healthy for him. Although it clumped, they were "flimsy" and wet and would break off easily. And now with the bigger #1 clumps, you can imagine the mess. Since it's so lightweight, I started finding it on the counter-tops in the kitchen - opposite end of the house. I've had it now for about 3 weeks and I'm switching it out again. I never got used to the very powerful smell (almost smells like detergent). It's not bad, it's just VERY strong, but at least nobody can complain about "litter smells" - especially if the cat starts avoiding it all together! Unfortunately this is not for us.
