I recently purchased this system for our 2 new kittens. The kittens went right to it which was great. I love that the urine seeps through to the pad, that part is great. However the poop smells awful. I can't flush the stool because it is covered in pellets. I have used a whole extra bag of pellets in two weeks. This is not economical at all.

One of my cats didn't like it at first so I started mixing pellets in with the clay scoopable litter. I kept adding pellets and subtracting the clay litter. Within about a week she was using it with all pellets. No more dust from clay, no more stinky smell and best of all no little clay litter being tracked throughout the house. I couldn't live without this system. It may be a little more expensive than the scoopable clay litter but it is worth every cent.

I have tried so many kinds of litter and litter boxes. All the types I have tried have some good things and some bad things. I hate clumping litter or crystal litter because it tracks all over the house, no matter what kind of litter mat I try, and crystal and clump litter are dusty. I'm not sure this dust is good for your cat. I have tried 2 automatic litter boxes. They all get clogged or poo holder gets full fast and is really expensive to change everyday when you have more then 1 cat. I have tried sifting bags. What a joke if your cat has claws. I have tried sifting litter boxes with grated bottom. The clumping litter gets stuck in grate. Then you have to rinse the thing out in the tub and dry. I have tried rolling litter boxes. All the litter just sticks to the bottom. And all of the litter boxes I have mentioned use clumping or crystal litter which I already said is dusty and tracks all over the house. This litter box has no dust and very little tracking, sometimes I find one outside of the box , but only a few feet away. I only have 2 problems with this box and they are not really problems with the system. My first problem is that no local stores carry it so I have to go to a bigger town an hour away. Or stock up when I go to that town, or buy on the Internet. The other problems is that I really would like a hood for it. My cats love the covered litter boxes best. I bought a big plastic box and put this in it and cut a hole on the side so my cats could have a covered box. I wish I could just buy a hood if I wanted one for extra money. So all litter boxes have good and bad points. This one is the best from my experience and the bad points are not really with the litter or system its self. The least messy and dusty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scoutsmom I love it, my cat loves it!
A friend recommended Breeze to me. In 5 years everyone will be using Breeze or systems like it. My favorite part is that the pellets don't get tracked out of the box, no more grit under bare feet. No more too frequent vacuuming. The odor control seems to be really good. Clean up is easy, much easier than other litters, because the pellets don't stick to the box like with clumping litter. A months supply of pellets weighs very little, really easy to buy and really easy to carry out to the garbage.
