I actually bought this for my three female ratties. It's great because you can open up the door from the right or the left side. There are extra locks to keep the kennel from falling apart and it has a water and food container which locks onto the kennel door and doesn't come off easily. The numerous holes allow your pet to be able to see the outside easily. The last one is it's best and worst quality. The only bad thing about this is that since the holes are big, bees follow the smell of the food and try to get inside the cage which worries me. Other than that minor thing, it's great. You can easily wash it and also, be confident that the door stays locked. I have taken a picture from the inside of the cage. P.S, my rats are smaller than they seem in this picture!

I bought this for airline travel for my 80lbs golden retriever. I got it today but small pieces are broken. How can i use this weak kennel for travel. I d like to get a refund. It is also heavy. 23 lbs. i think my dog can escape or break it easily. Waste of money : (

Good solid carrier. Very roomy and Miss Muffet has finally found a carrier she will go in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by marcie7467 Great design idea; plastic not sturdy enought
I really like the idea of lots of ventilation in a hard crate vs. wire crate. I like the dual opening doorway. Crate divider for pups is good idea. However, the instructions are very poor and even the diagrams are bad. I've put together many crates before and this one took me 30 minutes to get it right. The plastic is not hard enough or sturdy enough to make the "easy fit together" idea work as intended - as shown on video. However, once it's together it is sturdy enough (I hope) for a medium sized, well behaved dog in a 36" crate. A really strong dog that wanted to chew through the plastic would be able to escape in no time - especially if it started with the ventilation holes. A strong dog like my previous German Shepherd would have caused the plastic locks to break just by flopping down against the sides. I can see if you are breaking this crate down often the plastic locks won't last too long. If you crate train while the dog is young and small and leave crate assembled most of the time, this product will work.
