Used this for the first time tonight with a rambunctious lab puppy...can I say we might keep her now? It made that much of a difference to our ability to go for a pleasant walk. Awesome!! Highly recommend...and it didn't break the bank. Wonder if one will fit my hubby? Lol..Nah, probably wouldn't do any good anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Squizzy IT WORKS!!!
Bought for our 1 1/2 year old lab who still pulls on walks. After the first two uses, my husband came back just glowing, said the dog didn't pull at all. First time out of the package, the dog is afraid of the harness - backs away, quivering, tail down. This is the first harness we've tried with her, so she there's nothing she could associate it with, my best guess is some kind of smell that she doesn't like? But the harness is easy to put on her, and once it's on, she behaves normally, so I hope that part gets better.
Bottom line, this harness has finally accomplished what three types of collars couldn't do. The dog walks without pulling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TillyAndLouieMom better than average harness
My daughter and I tried 4 different harnesses on our Staffy mix and walked around the store for a bit. Good features of this harness are: It was the easiest of all to put on our dog, It's highly adjustable, It eliminates her choking herself, and these little ladies have a bit of an easier time walking Tilly "the locomotive"...most of the time- until she sees another potential dog friend. While we found that a harness is good to pull your dog back by putting pressure on the chest, she is strong and determined, so she CAN use this to her advantage. The only other potential minus is there is 1/2" cording which loops under the legs, and through the back of the collar hardware. It seems durable, but I'm watching it for any signs of fraying, as it takes a lot of abuse as the cord slides in and out of the hardware on the collar, when our dog pulls and we pull back. Petsmart has a great return policy though, so we'll see.
