I purchased two of these harnesses because they looked like they were well made and would be comfortable for my dogs. As some other reviews mentioned, one of the straps broke. I only got two uses out of it. The harness was fitted properly, so I don't even know how it could have happened. Too bad because I really thought these were going to be a good product.

by Sparra Amazing if used correctly
It seems the biggest issue with the low ratings on the product is it's "Durability". I would just like to say, I've had a 55lb Blue lacy lab mix trained previously to hunt and now trained in protection go after small game multiple times and have had no issues luring her back in after she's hit the end of a 33ft line. Misuse of this product is not the creator's issue, it works for what it's supposed to be used for. Note, just like any tool, it's supposed to be removed after use -DO NOT LEAVE IT ON, your dog could get it caught on something, chew it up, ect. It's meant to be worn with supervision, just like any other harness.
Personally, I prefer nylon over leather -that is the only reason I've bought this harness. It's well made to be durable if used correctly. I am constantly working with my dog and it's nice to have her offleash or close and still be able to hold the traffic handle, or to build up drive and let her loose without having to bother with the leash.
I have other harnesses, but on casual walks or hikes they're too heavy for her to lug around and I much prefer a harness with a traffic loop. I've had the harness for nearly five months now with no issues, my dog walks offleash next to me in the city, there has been a time since I've gotten it that I've had to put her work to the test, the handle made it almost comfortable to hold her back, but easy enough to grab her when I needed to. I also like the color and the way it fits, there's no backing out of this harness if properly fitted, unlike a pulling harness which is meant to actually encourage pulling.

I bought this harness for my 90 lb shepherd mix. He has used this harness every single day since November 2013! It has stayed in great condition. Luckily, he doesn't chew or try to get out of it. He seems to love it because it means he is going on a walk. My favorite thing about this harness is the handle on the back. If my dog feels like chasing a squirrel, or if we are passing someone on a trail, it makes it easier for me to keep him close to my side. I think the harness helped with his pulling as well. I will definitely buy this harness in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Demonsmom Awesome Harness! Colors are STUNNING
I have bought three of these harnesses so far, I LOVE them. The first one I bought was for my rescued White German Shepherd Belgian Malinois mix Casper who is a very big boy. He's tall and leggy like the Malinois but has a shepherd body build and therefore hard to fit a harness on. I bought the purple one for him and have to say I was instantly surprised that it fit him because I was not able to take him with me to fit the harness. It has held up wonderfully so far and I was so impressed that I bought two more one in red and one in blue for my husband and I's Service Dogs. The colors look great with their gear and they fit the dogs perfectly not to mention the color looks absolutely stunning against their fur. Casper is white and the purple looks great against his white fur. Tank and Bella our Service Dogs are black and Tank's blue harness and Bella's red one stand out perfect against their ebony coats and they fit perfectly over their vests leaving their patches clearly visible, plus the handle helps if my husband should need the extra help walking when on an outing with the dogs. Casper's harness handle helps give us extra control of him if we need it when we are out walking him and he wants to chase a duck or other animal
