I've had mine for 1 month. I've only seen three cats sleep in it, but I think they all use the scratching posts. One cat uses the top bed if no one is using the middle bed. He needs the middle bed to get to the top level. My old female uses the bottom round bed. There is no cushioning except for the shag carpeting. One of my old males will use it if I put more cushioning in it and I pick him up and put him there. But the beds aren't big enough for them to stretch out in, especially the middle one. It's nothing more than a bed and a scratch post. They don't play with the toy and it's probably a good thing, because who knows if that red dye is safe. The carpeting is a nice color, but it isn't very thick and doesn't cover underneath. All the beds and the condo seems sturdy, but not all of them were in the physical store. A cosmetic detail about the shag carpeting, is that it leaves a bald spot, when it's wrapped around the corners and edges.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Linalu My cat loves it!
We bought this about 3 years ago when my cats were kittens and my 15 lb male cat claimed it as his own and still loves it. He (and my female cat) have worn it down--some of the carpet is coming off and sisal is shredded; but I don't think any tower would have held up to their claws like this one has! I have the tower in a corner so there is no problems with it tipping over when he runs at it, climbs it or jumps from it. And we even use the lowest level to hold all of their toys in which is really convenient!

My cats love this tower. I wish it were a better quality product, but it's not. Within 2 months, my two cats had scratched off the carpeting covering the top pole. I covered the exposed pole with sisal rope. My cats don't like sisal rope. They've systematically destroyed the carpet on each pole and the top perch. The carpet fibers come off and leave a mess all over the floor. The exposed nylon threads (under the carpet fibers) then have to be cut off every day or else my cat chews on them. I had to put weights on the base to keep it from tipping when my 12 lb male cats hits it at a full run. Too bad, because it is the perfect size and style.
