Majestic Pet Bungalow Cat Tree
Cats love it, will need repair
We've had this for a couple years now, and are considering one for our parents' cats. We have 5 cats and at any given time at least 2 of them are making use of the tree. Never had all 5 at once, only gotten 4 in there, but they are cliquey and one of them doesn't get along with any of the others.
Tree was easy to put together, but within a week one of the top posts had broken and fallen off. My handy husband bought a 4x4 fence post and drilled bits into it and made it much sturdier than it was to begin with. A month later the other top post broke, and he did the same thing. We added more sisal rope and they have been fine ever since.
Both mice toys were dead and gone within a week, but we attached our own feather and ball toys to the elastic strings and those have lasted.
The hammock never worked right and finally we just removed it and set it on a window seat, where it gets used considerably more as just a cushion.
All in all we consider the cat tree one of our best purchases, even though we've had to make some repairs to it. We love to watch the cats come flying through the house, run up the tree, then play fight through the windows in the house, or relax on the pedestals.
